It is never easy to read about an accident where lives were tragically lost. All of us at Chagrin Valley Farms extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the heartbreaking loss of the horses traveling to the National Dressage Championships in British Columbia.
To bring a horse to this level takes a village—riders, trainers, owners, grooms, families, veterinarians, farriers, and so many others who dedicate countless hours to their care and success. But beyond the competition, these horses are deeply loved partners, teammates, and members of their families.
To everyone mourning this unimaginable loss, please know that the equestrian community is mourning with you. Across disciplines and across borders, our shared love for these incredible animals connects us all.
From all of us at Chagrin Valley Farms, we send our heartfelt sympathy, love, and support to everyone affected by this tragedy.
