A different approach to acupuncture! 🐾

Dr. Rose is performing gold bead implantation, an integrative technique that involves placing tiny gold plated beads, under anesthesia, at specific acupuncture points to provide long-term stimulation. Gold bead implantations are considered a permanent form of acupuncture.

Preventative care is a big part of what we do at Animal Wellness Center. 🐾

What your pet eats, their daily routine, and the products they're exposed to can all affect their long-term health.

Nutrition is something we talk about a lot at AWC. With so many pet foods, treats, and supplements available, it can be hard to know what's best for your pet.

Dr. Rose DiLeva is always happy to answer questions, discuss your pet's diet, or suggest changes that could improve their health and quality of life. We are happy to share helpful information on nutrition, ingredients to watch out for, and common household and pet products we recommend avoiding.

Preventative care goes beyond annual exams and vaccines. A lot of it comes down to the choices we make for our pets every day.

🐺 A little behind-the-scenes look at Niko's ozone therapy treatment!

You might recognize Niko, our resident wolfdog and longtime Animal Wellness Center favorite! ❤️

In this video, we're giving you a look at Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UBI) with ozone therapy, one of the integrative treatments offered at AWC.

This treatment involves drawing a small amount of blood, exposing it to three types of UV light and ozinated saline, and then returning it to the bloodstream. It's one of the ways Dr. Rose incorporates holistic therapies alongside conventional veterinary medicine.

Yes, we do acupuncture for pets!

Acupuncture isn't just for people. It's one of the therapies we use for pets dealing with arthritis, chronic pain, and certain mobility problems.

Dr. Rose offers traditional acupuncture, electroacupuncture, aquapuncture, and even gold bead implantation (a form of permanent acupuncture point stimulation).

And if you're wondering whether pets actually sit still for it, many of them do surprisingly well (and some even get so relaxed they fall asleep!)
