❤️Our precious Morticia Addams was adopted by the most loving couple! They just lost their dog and we’re feeling lost. Her new dad came to she shelter SEVERAL times looking for the right fit. He looked at dogs big, small, young, and old. When he met Morticia, he knew. His heart gushed! He brought his wife back the next day and she sealed the deal. She knelt down in the ground with Morticia and whispered the sweetest things to her. Morticia is a beautiful girl with a purest little heart and deserved every bit of the love she will now receive! Happy tails Morticia! ❤️

🖤 THE ADDAMS FAMILY, PARTY OF ONE. 🖤

Usually, it’s the mommas who get left behind. 💔

But this time, it’s the daddy.

The Addams Family has officially left the building… EXCEPT GOMEZ. 🥺

Morticia has found her happily ever after. The kiddos have all flown the coop. And poor Gomez? Well, he’s still sitting here wondering when it’s going to be his turn.

And we just cannot figure out WHY!

Gomez is a gentle, kind, submissive, ball-fetching little MEATLOAF. 🥹 He’s absolutely stunning, inside and out, and has one of the sweetest personalities you could ever ask for.

This handsome daddy has SO much going for him!

🐾 Wonderful with children

🐾 Great with other dogs

🐾 Appears to be housebroken AND kennel trained

🐾 Loves playing fetch

🐾 Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated

🐾 Heartworm NEGATIVE!

🐾 Gentle, easygoing, and an absolute sweetheart

He hasn’t been cat tested yet, but with his sweet, submissive personality, we wouldn’t be surprised if he happily handed over the keys to the kingdom and let the family cat run the whole household. 😂🐈

Gomez has watched his entire family find their people. He was a daddy, a companion, and part of a family of six. Now he’s the only one left.

He took care of his little family. Now it’s time for someone to take care of HIM. 🥹❤️

Somewhere out there is a couch with a Gomez-sized spot on it. A family that needs a loyal companion. Someone who won’t mind a little meatloaf following them around, bringing them a ball, and loving them with his whole heart.

🖤 Does anyone have room in their heart and home for Addams Family, party of one?

Let’s get this sweet daddy HOME.

‼️URGENT‼️💔YOU GUYS! I AM BEGGING YOU💔‼️Please consider adopting Lucille! Her adoption fee is waived for an approved adopter. She has been SO sad in the shelter, then she immediately took to 6-month-old Clover.
Her inner puppy came out and she went into “momma mode” at the same time 🥹 She snuggled up to clover and slept the best she had since coming to us. They played together, ate together, and we were even asked if they were related!
😭😥Unfortunately for her, Clover was adopted today and now Lucile is all alone again! She is crying out and it’s absolutely heartbreaking 💔 ! Please contact us if you can help her.
She is:
Housebroken
Dog friendly
Easy going
Low energy
Sm/md in size
INCREDIBLY LOVING!

Someone, please let her live out her years in a home that will love her and pamper her 🙏🏼🙏🏼

🥋🐾 MEET CHUCK NORRIS — THE LEGEND, THE MYTH, THE LITTLE LOW-RIDER! 🐾🥋

🚨 WARNING: EXTREME CUTENESS AT GROUND LEVEL! 🚨

They say Chuck Norris doesn’t do push-ups… he pushes the Earth down. 💪

Well, OUR Chuck Norris doesn’t need long legs to conquer the world! In fact, we’re pretty sure when they were handing out legs, somebody yelled, “WE’RE OUT OF MATERIAL!” 🤣🤣

But what this handsome Basset Hound mix lacks in leg length, he MORE than makes up for in personality and charm- and circumference 😂 this short dude is 55lbs!!

Now, before you start laughing at his vertically challenged situation, there’s a little more to Chuck’s story. 💔

You see, Chuck Norris once had a loving home and a family of his very own. He knew what it meant to belong. But sometimes life throws a curveball nobody sees coming. His family’s world was turned upside down, and through circumstances beyond his control, at 3 years old Chuck found himself at our shelter.

One day he was somebody’s little buddy, and the next he was wondering where his family went. 🥺

But here’s the thing about Chuck Norris…

CHUCK NORRIS DOESN’T GIVE UP! 💪🐾

He’s still standing tall… well, as tall as those little legs will allow! 🤣

He’s got the face of a distinguished gentleman, the body of a furry footstool, and the determination of a dog who knows his next chapter is going to be AMAZING!

We suspect his dream home includes a comfy couch, plenty of snacks, a human who appreciates a good short joke, and someone who will love him from the top of his adorable head all the way down to those teeny-tiny legs! ❤️

🐾 Chuck Norris doesn’t chase dreams… he waddles toward them with PURPOSE!

And while he may never be the tallest dog at the dog park, he could certainly be the BIGGEST love in somebody’s life. 🥹❤️

So come on, Marion County! Somewhere out there is a family missing a short-legged, big-hearted legend!

Chuck Norris isn’t looking for a handout… he’s looking for a FOREVER HOME! 🏡❤️

📍 Marion County IL Animal Control

🐾 Come meet this little legend and see for yourself why GREAT THINGS COME IN SHORT PACKAGES!

❤️ SHARE, SHARE, SHARE! Because the only thing shorter than Chuck’s legs should be his stay at the shelter! 🤣🐾

💛🐾 Meet AUTUMN — Our Beautiful Lemon-Colored Girl! 🐾💛

Sweet as honey, gentle as can be, and absolutely gorgeous! 🍯

Autumn is a stunning lemon-colored hound with the sweetest personality and a pretty unique little feature!

You see, Autumn has a little something extra — a double dewclaw on one of her back legs! 🐾 Only a handful of breeds are known for this trait, and one of them is the Great Pyrenees! We suspect our beautiful girl may have some Pyrenees ancestry mixed in with those hound genes. Whatever her family tree looks like, it sure made one gorgeous girl!

💛 Here’s what we know about Autumn:

🐾 Age: Approximately 1–2 years old.

🐾 Build: Tall, lean, and elegant! She’s likely reached her full height but could definitely stand to put on a few pounds.

🐾 Personality: Incredibly sweet, gentle, well-mannered, and affectionate. This girl absolutely LOVES attention and snuggles!

🐾 Dogs: Friendly! ❤️

🐾 Kiddos: Friendly! ❤️

🐾 Cats: Not yet tested, but we’re happy to arrange a test with your kitty if you’re interested!

🏡 A little something to know about her future home:

With a hound’s powerful nose and potentially a Great Pyrenees’ independent streak, Autumn may have a serious case of wanderlust! 😂

For her safety, she’ll need a family committed to keeping her securely fenced or leashed and supervised outdoors. That nose could lead her on an adventure she never intended to take!

❤️ And here’s what we REALLY want you to know about Autumn…

She is an absolute DOLL.

She’s gentle. She’s polite. She’s affectionate. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be near her people, soak up their love, and give every bit of it right back.

We truly believe Autumn would make a PHENOMENAL family dog.

She deserves a home where she’s adored. Where she gets the softest bed, the best treats, endless snuggles, and a family who thinks the sun rises and sets with her. ☀️

And something tells us this beautiful girl won’t be waiting very long!

💛 If Autumn has caught your eye, don’t wait! Reach out to Marion County Animal Control and make plans to meet her.

Somewhere out there is a family who doesn’t even realize their new best friend is waiting for them. Her name is Autumn. 🍂🐾
