I'm tossing around the idea of hosting a photo walk on October 3rd. Likely location would be Lake Henry in Mahwah, NJ. Roughly 60-90 minute walk around the lake stopping for pictures at many scenic spots along the way.

Ideally I would take about 3-5 dogs that are not reactive would be the limit for this to make sure all dogs get lots of images.

The cost would $99 per dog, and would include 3 images that you would select from a gallery of about 20 images. (maybe more)

Dogs and their owners have a better quality life together when there is cooperation and understanding between human and dog. It’s a relationship that builds trust , respect and freedom !

Stella was going crazy with the vacuum and I confirmed with owner she did the same at home.

I started desensitizing her yesterday. This is today. I am NOT giving any corrections and she’s already pretty damn good on day 2.

She gets rewarded for being quiet. The one outburst she had was a verbal NO and then I told her to down which she did and she got rewarded for that.

We’re teaching her to deal with things that might scare her or activate prey drive. Not everything has to be punished. And she will be fine going forward without always having to reward her. But for now I will.

I believe some people have the mindset of “it’s just how the dog is” and never try to figure out how to fix bad behavior. Especially behaviors that are not healthy for the dogs and will get worse as they continue to practice it.

Some people I do believe like when their dogs are afraid and say things like “she’s a rescue “. And they get mad at the world for doing things like vacuuming or setting off fireworks etc that trigger their dogs.

How about fixing it so your dog is balanced and healthy.? Every dog is different but we have to do what’s right for them so they don’t have to be stressed out messes !

Don’t blame the out of control dogs for your dog’s behavior. Without training and solid relationship Gracie wouldn’t have been able to walk by them without exploding.

Instead of making excuses - put in the work. Life is so much better for everyone when our dogs have manners.

Stella came back for additional training after going home for a few days (which was planned). It benefited her immensely...

Stella came back for additional training after going home for a few days (which was planned).

It benefited her immensely to go home and have her very awesome committed owners to live with her like I do and be consistent with rules, structure and boundaries.

Stella is 10 months old and a lot of dog. Getting her to relax and do nothing was an ongoing challenge. Her level of distraction and being inattentive to the human made simple tasks like pottying a challenge, let alone walking nicely on leash which prevented them from taking her anywhere or being able to really enjoy her.

The next couple of weeks we will refine her foundational obedience and her mindset when she’s out and about. Stella’s world is going to be so much better and so are the lives of her family.
