Introduction to K9 Nose Work® now open for Registration!

Discover the joy of letting your dog do what they love most — use their nose!

K9 Nose Work® classes tap into your dog’s natural hunting instincts and reward that behavior with high-value treats, making training fun, engaging, and stress-free for both dog and handler.

This activity builds confidence (especially for shy or timid dogs), burns off mental and physical energy, and deepens the bond between you and your canine partner — all while showing you just how amazing your dog’s sense of smell truly is!

K9 Nose Work® is perfect for dogs of any age, breed, size, or physical ability, and handlers of all experience levels. No prior training required.

Because dogs work one at a time, they must however, be able to rest comfortably and quietly, in your vehicle or our crate room, when not actively searching.

The Introduction to K9 Nose Work® course is the first in a structured, progressive, multi-level training series designed to prepare teams for NACSW trials and AKC Scent Work events.

Each course runs for four weeks ($125), with the next level beginning immediately after the current one concludes - allowing teams to continue developing their skills without interruption.

This ongoing sequence allows participants to build skills progressively, advancing through each stage, progressing from “no experience” to “ready” for Odor Recognition Tests (ORT) and entry-level competition.
