September 28 is World Rabies Day. 🐾

Keeping your pet’s rabies vaccination current helps protect more than just your own pet—it also protects other animals, families, groomers, veterinary teams, and everyone who works closely with animals.

Please check your pet’s vaccination records and contact your veterinarian if they’re overdue.

Vaccinate. Prevent. Protect. ❤️

🐾 WORLD RABIES DAY — SEPTEMBER 28 🐾

With World Rabies Day coming up, this is a good reminder to make sure your pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations. 💉🐕🐈

Keeping vaccinations current is an important part of responsible pet ownership. Rabies is preventable, but once symptoms appear, it is nearly always fatal.

Vaccinating your pets doesn't just protect them — it also helps protect your family, other animals, groomers, veterinary staff, and other animal-care workers who have close contact with pets every day.

Rabies is present here in Southern Oregon, too. Rabies-positive animals have been documented in both Jackson and Josephine counties.

Please check your pet's records and make sure they're current. ❤️

VACCINATE • PREVENT • PROTECT
Protect the animals — and the people who care for them.

Look who came to visit me today! 🥹🐾

Bo moved out of state with his family, but they were back in town and brought him in to see me. It was so good getting to spend some time with this sweet boy again. ❤️

Always nice seeing an old furry friend. 🐶

Happy National Dog Week! 🐶🐾

This week celebrates the loyal, loving, goofy dogs who make our homes—and my workdays—so much happier. Every dog deserves patience, kindness, and care tailored to their individual needs. ❤️

It’s also National Deaf Pet Awareness Week—a reminder that deaf dogs can live full, joyful lives and do wonderfully during grooming with gentle handling, visual cues, and a predictable routine.

A little bit of my day today 🐾💕

Ellie & Watson started the morning bright and early at the shop, then over to Shannon’s home shop for Leonitis before finishing the day in mom mode at a school meeting. 🐶📚
