FeLV is part of a cat’s story—but it doesn’t have to define the rest of it.
Cats living with FeLV (feline leukemia virus) can still enjoy happy, fulfilling lives filled with play, companionship, and plenty of love. They deserve the same chance at a loving home as any other cat.
An FeLV diagnosis simply means a cat may need some additional care and consideration. What it doesn’t change is their personality, their ability to bond with people, or how much love they have to give.
Want to learn more about FeLV, including how cats are tested and what care may look like? Visit the Dayton Humane Veterinary Hospital to learn more.
