A little life update from our family ❤️
We’ve been pretty quiet around here this summer, and we wanted to share a little bit of why.
This summer has been an incredibly emotional one for our family. While we may have been quiet here on our puppy page, behind the scenes our family has been grieving some very deep losses.
I lost both of my grandmas this summer, and we also said goodbye to my sweet mother-in-law. Three very special women, three very different losses, and a whole lot of emotions for our family to process.
At the same time, we welcomed our sweet Baron into our family. Having a new baby has brought so much joy and love into our home, but navigating that joy alongside grief has been a lot to carry.
So, we stepped back for a little while.
We’re slowly finding our rhythm again and looking for some normalcy in the midst of a season that has felt anything but normal. And honestly, I think getting back into puppy season will be good for our hearts. And that season is coming very soon!
There is just something about puppies—their little faces, their silly personalities, the excitement of watching them grow, and the joy they bring to families—that feels healing.
So if we’ve been a little quiet, thank you for understanding. We’re still here. We’re still loving our Goldens, they are just living life! And we’re slowly finding our way back to the things that bring us joy.
We’re looking forward to what’s ahead for LA’s Golden Hour Pups and to filling our day with puppy paws, puppy breath, and hopefully a little more laughter again.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to follow along, checked on us, supported our family, and loved our puppies from afar. It means more than you know. ❤️
Here’s to healing, new beginnings, and finding our rhythm again. 🐾
