We’re happy to report that all of our little early birds are doing wonderfully! The puppies are already gaining weight and getting off to a great start. Watching these little ones grow and thrive is always such a rewarding part of raising a litter.

Reyka and Puddin are both doing great as well and are already back to their playful, energetic selves! It’s wonderful to see both girls feeling good and bouncing back after having their babies.

We’re keeping a close eye on everyone and couldn’t be happier with how things are going so far. We’re looking forward to watching these beautiful little red babies grow over the next several weeks! ❤️🐶

Thank you all for the love and excitement surrounding these two litters! We can’t wait to share more updates with everyone!

Apparently all Reyka needs in life is a little validation and someone to tell her she’s a good girl 😂❤️ The way she went from happy to absolutely MELTING over two little words 🤣

These two are having a little too much fun with their pumpkin and I’m pretty sure it’s not going to survive the day 😂❤️

Fern would like to speak to the manager because apparently she thought pumpkin spice season meant RED GOLDEN RETRIEVERS, not pumpkin spice lattes 🎃😂❤️

Talk about a surprise!

Both Reyka and Puddin decided to welcome their babies on the SAME DAY, arriving 9 days earlier than expected! These girls certainly kept us on our toes! 🐾

Between our two amazing mamas, we welcomed 17 beautiful red Golden Retriever puppies! 🍂

Reyka’s Litter

That gives us 12 handsome boys and 5 beautiful girls! ❤️

Both mamas and all the babies are doing well, and we couldn’t be more excited to watch these little redheads grow over the coming weeks. Raising two litters at once will definitely keep us busy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Let’s talk about keeping our dogs at a healthy weight!

The feeding chart on the dog food bag is a guideline, not a one size fits all rule. Every dog is different and their needs depend on their activity level, metabolism, age, and body condition.

A dog lounging on the couch all day doesn’t need the same amount of food as a dog running FastCAT or dock diving.

Feed the dog in front of you, not just what the bag says! Adjust portions as needed, account for treats, and remember that keeping our dogs at a healthy weight is one of the best things we can do for their long term health. ❤️
