Found a lost pet? Now you can check for a microchip any time, day or night!

We’re so excited to share that the NWA Animal Alliance has added two new free, 24/7 microchip scanning stations in Northwest Arkansas

Each station has a handheld scanner in a weatherproof box, with simple instructions. If you find a dog or cat, just bring them by, scan for a chip, and you could have them back with their family in hours instead of days. No waiting for a shelter or vet to open!

And a friendly reminder: a microchip only works if your contact info is current. Take two minutes today to make sure your pet’s chip has your up-to-date phone number. 💛

2 Year Old German Shepard/Blue Heeler Needing a New Home (Centerton)—
With heavy hearts, we are seeking a new home for our dog, Re*****on (Remy). Remy is a loving, gentle two-year-old German Shepherd and Blue Heeler mix. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and fully house-trained—he has never had an accident indoors. Remy loves to play but is happiest simply being close to his people, making him a wonderful companion for anyone. Remy does not have any behavior concerns. He still likes to chew on things some, and he has a special food bowl to keep him from eating too fast. I have never seen him get aggressive over anything. He loves attention and loves to play. Unfortunately, my grandson is moving in with me full time and has severe dog allergies, so we need to find Remy a caring and loving new home.
