No the dog is not sedated for grooming . When you expose dogs in early puppy stage and do monthly grooming this creates ongoing exposure which helps them build positive associations with the environment, allowing grooming to become a calm, familiar routine. As a result, many of our dogs genuinely enjoy their spa day, often becoming so relaxed that they fall asleep during their appointments.

Baths are especially helpful during allergy seasons, as they remove pollen and debris from the coat and skin. Plus, consistent grooming allows us to catch small scrapes, cuts, or skin issues early—before they have a chance to become infected.
