We are headed to trying to get some hay, but with the cost of hay and diesel over $6 a gallon, we sure could use some help!! we go through 15-20 bales a month. With donations at a all time low any help is appreciated!! We have several senior horses and sanctuary horses that take special care. We have a couple geldings that will be listed soon as they are ready And we do have a little mare available, every donation makes a difference. No matter how big or small. So we're out feeding this morning realized my geld hadn't come up totally out of character as he is mr. bossy!! I see him standing quietly down by the fence line call to him he's just staring at me we go down there some how he's wrapped himself in part of the fence its wrapped tightly around his back right leg we caught him started cutting the fence he was so calm. We got fence cut walked him up in to the shade and grass to work on this wire that was super tight. We lightly sedated him he was such a good boy got wire off and thank goodness for all that hair only went a little bit in skin. He will be getting water therapy for few days for swelling and buteless for pain..
