This guy needs a home he's a 1 yr old rough collie/catahoula/healer. Oliver is the most loving dog he will give you hugs and cuddle. He's good with other dogs he has definite herding tendencies. He needs his own forever family he could be great inside dog or working dog. He could make a amazing therapy dog he's gentle, smart, wants to be right with you constantly watching!

Ok guys we need some help!!

I've tried for last several months not to ask for much donation wise but we are about out of Hay we need both big rounds and small bales grass & alfalfa. We have so many horses that are sanctuary horses (special needs, partial blind, seniors or unadoptable) and I won't let them down!! They have special feed and supplements and require vet and farrier work so I'm asking you to help me not let these amazing horses down.

Cupcake was supervising while we worked on building corner H-Braces. She's a pretty serious boss!! 🫏 we have been trying to build nicer pens and paddock for these guys. It's been a rough 7 months since my husband had his heart attacks. Slowly we will get back to where we were. we still have several companion horses available, 1 filly unbroke, 1 older gelding broke but will need tune up. Message for details..

Here is some great info on sun 🌞 and your horses!

As the temperatures rise and the sun stays out longer, make sure your equine friends are adequately protected from harmful UV rays. ☀️

Hot summer weather puts horses at risk not only for dehydration and heat stress but also the skin damage and discomfort that accompany a sunburn— just like humans.

A lot of equestrians love some chrome on a horse, but it's important to remember that those beautiful white markings and the non-pigmented pink skin underneath are more likely to suffer from sunburn, especially in areas where the skin is more sensitive — like around the eyes and the nostrils.

In addition to the pain and discomfort, horses that are prone to recurrent sunburn may also face other long-term consequences, like the increased likelihood of developing squamous cell carcinoma (a common cancer).

If your horse is susceptible to sunburn, contact your veterinarian for more information about sun damage and recommendations to keep your equine protected this summer.
