Our special little girl Greenley has hit a growth spurt! She was a fighter from the start and now she’s hitting the full blown puppy phase! 🥹 This girl is GORGEOUS and so sweet! She’s too young for adoption quite yet, but we will start taking applications in the near future! We are also considering foster to adopt situations (which would be available sooner). Just look at that face! 😍🤗❤️

Little Charlee got her stitches out today and is doing well! Still working on PT for her back legs…. Vets don’t expect her to gain full use of them but we are going to keep trying while she’s still young enough to have a chance! Water therapy has begun along with some outside time to learn to get herself around🙏🏻 She’s a sweet little baby with a big personality! 🥰🥰🥰

The happiest update ever, yall! 😍
Our precious senior boy Bear 🧸 is officially ADOPTED🩵!
We rescued this boy after he was found neglected living on the streets during the ice storm this Winter… a Good Samaritan picked him up and took him to the ER because he was so frozen he couldn’t move his legs💔… the ER then sent him to the shelter. Luckily, we saw his story when he was out in the cold and followed his journey to the shelter where we very persistently followed up daily until we were able to get him out and safe! We were so worried this boy would be euthanized knowing he likely didn’t have anyone looking for him … and after all he had been through, a wonderful ELMAR foster was ready to get him safe! Fast forward 4 months and this beautiful boy has the most incredible home to call his own forever!!! 🥰 He is so so lucky! He has a furry sibling, a little human sister and a mom and dad who all ADORE him! Happy Tails Bear, we love you!!!!! ❤️ 🏡 🐾

Beautiful pup was brought into one of our partner ERs suffering from what they believe to be rat poisoning💔 She is apprx 6months old, super sweet and docile, and well on her way to a full recovery!🙏🏻 They reached out to us for help to avoid sending her to a shelter after everything she’s already been through. We’d like to officially introduce you to Greenley! 💚💚💚 Although she’s not “new” to the rescue, she deserves a proper introduction now that she is thriving and growing into a precious little pup! She arrived from absolutely devastating circumstances along with 3 of her siblings 😔…. Her momma passed shortly after birth and they were sent to us sadly later than we would have hoped for. If only we could have gotten them help sooner 💔🙏🏻. Greenley and her siblings came to us at 2 weeks old suffering from an awful virus passed down from their unvaccinated mother and despite with multiple vet and ER visits doing everything possible to save them, they were just too sick to overcome the illness - except for Greenley! She’s clearly a strong girl with BIG determination. 💗 We are so grateful to have her safe and healthy with us where she will find a forever home to love and adore her! She will be available for adoption before you know it so keep checking in on her cuteness as she grows! 🥰🥰🥰

Yesterday we welcomed this sweet sweet angel to the rescue and are already well on our way to getting her better!❤️‍🩹 Poor little thing is 5 weeks old but only 2 lbs, suffering from a pr*****ed re**um and sadly her legs do not function. 🥺 When we came across her story, we were hopeful this was a case of swimmer puppy but her little legs are fused straight- no bend in the joints at all. X-rays actually show one of the back legs has a previous injury/ fracture but still, the other leg is also fused straight so there’s not a lot to be done at this time- however we will be doing daily physical therapy in case there’s a chance the joints can loosen up and we have Chester’s wheelchair that she can borrow as she grows until custom wheels are made just for her once she is bigger!🙏🏻 We spent the day with our vet getting her all checked out. She had her rear end sutured to hopefully resolve the prolapse - she handled the anesthesia like a champ!… please pray it stays put!🙏🏻 We are loaded up on diaper cream and baby powder to soothe her urine scalded skin and next we start teaching her how to get herself around with her 2 front legs! She’s going to be one strong little girl before you know it! This baby hasn’t had an easy start in life but it will only get better from here and we will be there for her every step of the way!

‼️🙏🏻 Urgent PRAYER request 🙏🏻‼️

Our little boy Blu is back at the ER fighting for his life. He has fought so so hard over the past 2 weeks since we rescued him, but every time he makes an improvement we face another setback. 💔 He is now suffering from aspiration pneumonia along with borderline kidney failure and fighting the preexisting virus the entire litter has suffered from since birth. 🥺 He has been tube fed since last night, this will be his second night in ICU. He is also now getting IV fluids and meds despite his tiny 15 ounce size. ❤️‍🩹 Yes, we know, it sounds like an uphill battle- but Blu is still pushing to survive and as long as he’s not suffering and we see that sparkle in him wanting to keep going, then we will continue the fight alongside him! 🙏🏻
What we need TONIGHT: lots and lots of prayers! We have all see the miracles that have come through our rescue and this little boy is no different! Pray for him to heal, for his body to rest and get stronger, for the infection in his lungs to resolve and the virus to fade away! ❤️‍🩹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

***Heartbreaking Update***
Blu took a turn in the wrong direction and we began doing everything we could to save him .. next steps with ER were to begin plasma transfusions.. before we could get that started, he stopped breathing even while on oxygen and despite drs best efforts they were unable to revive him 😭💔…. God has bigger plans for this little boy than what we knew, we are devastated after working so hard to save him, but we know he’s a at peace now and we have comfort knowing we gave him every possible fighting chance.
Thank you all for your support, he has low chances of surviving but we sure tried our best, as did he, to fight the fight. We love you Blu 😢🩵💔 🌈
