Kennel & Customer Service Assistant
📍 The Dog Spaw | Celina, Ohio
Do you love dogs, take pride in keeping things clean and organized, and enjoy helping people? We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team member to join our family at The Dog Spaw!
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, can stay busy throughout the day, and understands the importance of providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our furry guests.
🐶 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
💻 Computer Work & Reception
* Answering phone calls and responding to customer questions.
* Assisting customers with scheduling, appointments, and general inquiries.
* Using a computer to enter information, update records, and complete daily tasks.
* Greeting customers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.
* Helping keep customer information and daily operations organized.
* Communicating professionally with customers and team members.
🧹 Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
* Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting dog kennels, runs, and common areas.
* Cleaning floors, walls, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
* Washing and sanitizing food and water bowls.
* Washing laundry, bedding, towels, and other supplies.
* Keeping the reception area, grooming areas, and boarding facility clean and presentable.
* Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting when supplies are running low.
* Following proper sanitation procedures to maintain a healthy environment for our dogs.
* Paying attention to the little details that make a big difference in cleanliness and safety.
🐕 Dog Care & Kennel Support
* Helping maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for boarded dogs.
* Assisting with daily dog care tasks as needed.
* Monitoring dogs and notifying the appropriate team member of any concerns.
* Following established safety and sanitation procedures.
* Treating every dog with patience, kindness, and respect.

This is a hands-on position. There will be computer work and customer interaction, but there will also be plenty of cleaning and physical work. We need someone who is comfortable with both sides of the job and is willing to pitch in wherever help is needed.
