Getting them outside, working around cattle, and putting them in real-life situations is a huge part of building a confident, well-rounded horse. These are the days that teach them to think, trust their rider, and handle whatever gets thrown their way.

Safe and sound for beginner/intermediate rider
Will be used for trails, some playdays, and whatever else this youngin wants to do on a horse. This will be for a kid! So no projects or anything that needs a tune up.
Gelding only
Prefer quarter horse
Preference to paints
PPE will be done
Healthy budget for a good horse

I usually post stuff about horses in training on here but I would like to give a shout out to the worlds greatest using horse Taz. He’s such a good boy when it comes to helping me start these c**ts. This little filly came in to be started and right off the bat she was very pushy and in your space, I used Taz to help me guide her and teach her it’s not cool to run through people or things. After a quick mounted session I decided to step off and test out her skills. Taz stood patiently to the side while I pushed her around me.

11 year old big stout gelding up for grabs. Was used on a ranch then strictly trail rode. Great using horse for the ranch, turn back horse, or drag calves to the fire. Also makes a nice trail horse, crosses anything, legged up and ready for those long rides. Easy to get along with, and very easy keeper. Currently barefoot. Can be a little watchy on the ground but nothing major. Stands tied, no buck, bite, rear, kick or any other nasty habits. $6500. Located in Celina, Tx. Shipping available.
