We are an animal casting, animal talent, animal wrangling, animal wranglers and animal trainers company. The mission of STAR K9, LLC is to train and provide animal talent and professional wranglers for the entertainment industry while embracing the highest level of care and respect for the animals. We also employ our high standards, personal service and expertise to ensure positive results for our

client’s projects, on time and on budget. STAR K9, LLC has over 22 years of training, handling and wrangling animals in basic and advanced level skills. We are conveniently located within the Atlanta Metro Area where our animals enjoy the luxury of a 40 acre ranch. Our staff is well acquainted with the business and we do our best to ensure that the animal talent and wranglers understand and prepare for their roles to ensure your project has the best possible outcome. We adamantly support the humane treatment of all animals we represent. We promote the natural instincts and personality of each animal while providing respect and positive, naturally balanced concepts. We also observe the SAG and American Humane Society Guidelines as well as Animal Welfare Approved Certification. All animals must pass health and temperament requirements as well as pass a strict audition process that requires the animal to follow commands off leash in distracting situations and unfamiliar settings. Our handlers must also pass extensive requirements involving animal behavior and training, and conducting themselves with the highest degree of professionalism toward the animal talent, our clients and associates.

SPECIAL REQUEST: Seeking a short video of a German Shepherd knocking someone down....scene involves man with a rifle and German Shepherd dog jumps up, hits the man center chest with front paws, knocks him down and stands on his chest to keep man down on ground. Man is scared and doesn't fight the dog. Dog isn't growling or barking, just standing on man's chest...perhaps looking down at him with an intimidated look. This is for a film/TV teaser video to present to network executives. Doesn't need to be professional video, but should be good quality (not shaky or blurry, etc.). CASTING CALL: Dog (large, breed specific-read details in this announcement). Atlanta, GA. Project scheduled for Monday-Tuesday (July 13-14, 2026). Dogs only needed for about 3-4 hours on one of these days. Client asking for 3 dogs (if possible, dogs should look the same / same breed, etc.). Actions involve a "fashionable" woman walking her "plush" dogs on a leash together. Open to breeds, but they should be larger size dogs and breeds a "fashionable" woman would have (i.e., Golden Retriever, poodle, greyhound, Dalmatian, etc.). CASTING SHEET: **URGENT REQUEST – SEND INFO ASAP** Dogs. Unique project – read full details. Project is in MANHATTAN, NEW YORK. Exact date being finalized (will be between April 30-May 8th). Dogs needed only 1 day. Project involves a dog walker with 2-4 dogs. Dog owner will also be in this scene as the DOG WALKER. Production is requesting a FEMALE dog walker. Ideally if a female dog owner has multiple dogs they own or have handled that would be great; however, would consider individuals submitting their only dog. All dogs submitted must be dog friendly and walk well on a leash. Scene involves dog walker in an outdoor park area.
