If a trainer wants to use leash corrections, slip leads, shock or prong collars, shaker cans, spray bottles, physical punishment, alpha theory, or dominance—RUN. 🚩

No dog should experience pain, fear, or intimidation in the name of training.

Exciting news! I am so fortunate to be renting space from one of my favorite veterinary practices, Five Towns Animal Hospital, at their new Hewlett location on 1598 Broadway. I am now offering puppy classes, individual training, and play sessions. I look forward to seeing you and your pups there!

I am completely over all the heavy handed punishment trainers that don’t know how to use anything but a shock collar and prong. You are destroying perfectly wonderful dogs from lack of education. And I don’t want to hear, there is a thoughtful way to use them. Clients can barely say yes and give a treat or toy at the right time. How could someone ethically put these tools in a dog owners hand. The dog world needs some serious change, and dogs are suffering everyday because of it.
