ADOPT JOY IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th!

PetSmart Charities Adopt Joy Day is happening Saturday, September 26th, and we’ll be there ready to help you find your new best feline friend!

📍 SW Cedar Rapids PetSmart – Westdale Pkwy
🕚 11 AM – 2 PM

Our volunteers will be at our adoption condos during the event, and you’ll have the opportunity to meet and interact with our adorable kittens currently at the adoption center — plus, we may bring some additional adoptable friends along for the fun!

Want to take a new friend home that day?
We recommend submitting your adoption application at least a few days before the event so our team has time to review it and get you pre-approved.

Apply online at www.heroshaveniowa.org

Come meet the kittens, find your purr-fect match, and Adopt Joy!

Six sweet faces are looking for their people! 🐾 Mocha, Clove, Toffee, Chai, and Hazel are five adorable puppies ready to melt your heart, and big boy Jack is flashing his happiest grin from behind the gate.

🏡 Foster or Foster-to-Adopt
All of these pups need homes. You can foster them for now or sign up to foster-to-adopt. The five puppies will be spayed or neutered once they are old enough, and adoptions can be finalized at that point.

💛 Meet the Puppies: $400 Each (Foster-to-Adopt)
☕ Mocha
🌿 Clove

🧡 Meet Jack: $150 (Discounted!)

REDUCED FELINE ADOPTION FEES COMING SOON!

To coincide with PetSmart's National Adoption Week next week, we will be offering REDUCED ADOPTION FEES on all our cats and kittens from July 20th-26th.

The reduced fee will be honored on adoptions completed as a result of an application that was submitted during these dates. We do have several kittens that aren't quite ready to go to their forever homes but will allow approved adopters to pre-adopt these kittens at the reduced rate. The reduced fee promotion only applies to felines.

Remember, most of our animals are in foster homes across Eastern Iowa. As a result, we typically do not allow potential adopters to meet their preferred animal prior to submitting an application. Instead, we ask that if you are interested in one of our cats or kittens that you submit the adoption application so that we can screen you and then once approved we will set up a time for you to meet them and take them home if it's a good match!

We do have some cats and kittens housed at the SW Cedar Rapids PetSmart (and we will SOON have felines at the Waterloo PetSmart too!) so you can visit them there and observe them through the glass. We do also plan to have an in-person event on Sunday, July 26th where people can meet and interact with some of our cats and kittens at the SW Cedar Rapids PetSmart location - more details to come!
