Good morning. Labor Day Weekend is here.
Where did the summer go?!
I will be CLOSED tomorrow, Saturday, September 5th for the holiday weekend. So get in today and get stocked up on all your pet's needs so they can have a fun weekend too.
I have frozen Gelato. Goat milk and bone broth that you could freeze in ice cube trays for a cool and healthy treat.
Lots of chews and treats too. Stop in and have a great day.

Good morning. Yesterday I mentioned it was Food 4 Paws 9th anniversary. I was thinking about how my shop looked then compared to now. Much fuller, more of everything really. And all that I have learned. You do better when you know better. Pet parents today want to know better. They are reading labels and wanting to feed their pets better. That is why I started this business, to help people know better and do better!!
The pet food industry is constantly changing to meet these demands of pet parents today. I keep learning more too.
I am so grateful to ALL of you for coming along on this journey with me.

Good morning. Today is kind of a big day because NINE years ago Food 4 Paws opened it's doors!!! NINE years can you believe??!!
It has been a journey and one I am very grateful for. And thanks to ALL of you for trusting me with your pet's health and happiness.
I have learned so much over these past 9 years. I hope I have helped pets live longer and healthier lives with all this knowledge.
I know Bella wouldn't have lived to be 16 and a half without having all this knowledge to help her liver a better life.
So here's to the past 9 years and MANY MORE to come!!!

Good afternoon. It's a hot one today. We know when the kids go back to school that it gets hot again. And technically it is still summer.
This heat can cause imbalance though in us and in our pets. If you pet suddenly gets diarrhea it could be the heat. Or maybe for some reason just can't settle at night, it could be a hot spot somewhere. Dr. Judy was just talking about this in one of her dogs. He just wouldn't settle down at night. She started looking over and found a hot spot. Damp heat causes these imbalance. So feed some cooling things like watermelon or cucumbers to get them through the hot spell. Soon we will be wearing our parkas and gloves. So enjoy it while we can.

Good afternoon. I'm back!! Feels good to be back to work. Thanks to Judy for holding down the fort for me.
Hubby's hip surgery went well. Healing is going well too.
And to add just a little more stress. On Monday when I got up and looed at Kally, her face was swollen on the left side just below her eye. I knew we must have another tooth issue. Swelling or actual sores beneath an eye in a pet is often times a sign of an abscessed tooth. Because those roots can go up into the sinus area.
Thank goodness I was able to get her to the vet Monday. And she had her left upper molar removed yesterday!!
So I have 2 patients to take care of. Thankfully both are doing well.
I'm glad this week is almost done. But you know that's what life does right? It keeps throw stuff at you. You learn to cope and pivot and breathe in between. Hyperventilating doesn't count however.

Good morning. All went well with my husband's surgery yesterday. He's feeling good considering he just had a major joint replaced in his body. Thank goodness he only has 2 hips.
The shop is open normal hours today. I will not be there however, today or tomorrow. Judy is taking care of things for me while I help my husband heal. I will be back at it Friday though.
