Our pawsitive performer for August is the one. The only. Dr baumgardner!!!!! Dr Krae has been at block for 3 years. His favorite thing is the variety of what we see. Every day is different, and he gets to see everything from routine wellness visits to emergencies, plus he works with exotics, so thereā€™s always something new to learn. He also enjoys working with a team thatā€™s always willing to help each other out. Heā€™s always trying to improve as a veterinarian, especially in emergency medicine and exotic animal care. Outside of work, hes also been developing software tools to make ICU cases and patient handoffs more efficient. When heā€™s not at work heā€™s usually outside enjoying hiking, camping, and fishing. Right now his main project is building the worldā€™s smallest pond ecosystem. He is seeing how much biodiversity he can support in a tiny, removable backyard pond, and itā€™s been a surprisingly fun experiment. Dr Krae has an Irish Setter named Pebble, a cat named Maisy, and he recently adopted a kitten. Thank you for always being the life of the party and making block better!!
