🐾 National Veterinary Technician Week Spotlight: Wiebke!

Meet Wiebke, one of our amazing veterinary assistants! Wiebke is originally from Germany, where she spent 6 years in school to become a vet tech. She has been working in the field for over 40 years and has been part of the Hanover team since 2012! 💙

Wiebke lived in India for 4 years before moving to the USA in 2008. 🇮🇳 She now lives in Crown Point and enjoys spending her weekends with her kids and grandkids.

Wiebke has a special love for hounds and has owned many Bloodhounds and Beagles over the years. She currently has a Coonhound named Nutmeg! 🐶 She recently said goodbye to her beloved cat, who would have turned 22 years old. 🐱😢

Outside of work, Wiebke enjoys playing pool with her husband of 25 years, bingo nights, and spending time at the beach. ☀️🏖️

Wiebke loves her job, coworkers, and clients, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of the Hanover family!

Help us show Wiebke some appreciation for all she does for our patients and their families! 👏✨

🐾 National Veterinary Technician Week Spotlight: Mel!

Meet Mel, one of our amazing veterinary assistants! Mel has been in veterinary medicine for over 25 years and has been part of our team for 6 years! 💙

Her passion for helping animals started when she was just 7 years old, when she helped save a baby bird with the help of her dad. 🐦‍⬛ It was such a rewarding experience that she knew she wanted to spend her future saving animals! 🐾

At home, Mel has quite the crew of her own: Viper the Cane Corso, Cleopatra the ball python, Charlotte the teacup Chihuahua, and four hens named Mona Lisa, Lil Erica, TinkaBell, and Wendy!

When she’s not at the clinic, Mel enjoys traveling, crocheting, arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her family and pets. ❤️

Help us show Mel some appreciation for all she does for our patients and their families!✨👏

🐾 Have you seen this positive pet parent review? Check it out! We love hearing from you! 🐶🐱

“I got an appointment quickly, the staff all listened to my concerns. Me and my pet were welcomed and treated with kindness and care. The place was warm and cozy. I liked the treatment and advice given to me by the vet. It’s worth the drive and I’m definitely satisfied. I look forward to continuing to establish a good relationship with them. 😊”

We hope to provide you with the same level of customer satisfaction! ❤️ To get started with our veterinary services, contact us today. 🐾

“Based on our analysis, Fluffy appears to have an overheating battery, a shattered screen, and a serious case of low storage.” 😂🔋📱

All jokes aside, as much as we’d love to diagnose your pet over the phone, we need to see them in person! 🐶🐱 A proper diagnosis requires a physical exam and, in some cases, diagnostic testing to figure out what’s really going on. 🩺🔬
