Who else loves Toads? I am always so excited to see the first Toe-Toads of the season. šŸ„°
Generally they come out at night to work the empty stalls grabbing crickets and June Bugs, ( thank you.)
I see them at Bed check and make sure to leave a little puddle in the aisle so they can get hydrated.
Has anyone ever used the little Toad Houses? And did they use them?

Imported PRE Andalusian that has served for many years helping students learn lightness, and correct aids. His last assignment was giving confidence to a gal in her seventies that thought she just wasnā€™t strong enough to ride anymore.

Thereā€™s a real good reason we say heā€™s like ā€œ riding a marshmallow.ā€

Heā€™s been in retirement for the last 3 years ( because I retired from teaching unless you board here), not for any physical reason on his part.

But today he was asked if he could help mend a shattered heart. And without hesitation it was an absolute YES from Sir Silencio.

We are so thankful for his willingness to help. ā¤ļø

Another herd of forage only and 24/7 turn out. Horses love to be treated like horses. šŸ¤­

Of course everyone has shelter and stalls for inclement weather.

Im definitely an advocate for the forage only diet. This herd of retired geldings ages between 17 and 23 shows why.
Free choice analyzed coastal and one flake of alfalfa daily. 24/7 turn out. šŸ¤”
