Team EquiClarity had a great outing at Steeple
Hill yesterday!

He was such a good boy! Even though he was nervous, he tried his heart out. We will keep building confidence and relaxation.

TOP VIDEO how it started: 3.14.25 - This horse started into training last year in hopes that he would be able to return to pleasure riding after injury. He spent a few months in veterinary rehab before beginning his re-education. We spent many sessions like this having conversations about balance and alignment. I asked him how he felt about things in multiple ways while going between finding ease and the right kind of challenge. His owner explored working with Hatha Equus rehab/play intrinsic motivation model, we explored traditional in hand work with and without the bridle, we leaned hard on our team of hoof care and body work professionals all while setting the stage and letting him tell us how he was experiencing it all.

The bottom video is from Saturday. This was his max effort trot and I could not be more PROUD. For a horse that was concerned and shut down to come out of his shell THAT MUCH, is incredible and humbling. While there is still progress to be made, I am choosing to celebrate how far we have all come.

Im so excited to see what the next year of integrating his new skills will bring!

It always demands a new version of you. Every next level requires you to release old habits, old thinking, and old comfort.

When you resist change, you are not protecting yourself. You are resisting the assignment placed in front of you.

I was a high school dropout.

I spent 25 years in the beauty industry, and as a stylist, a salon owner, and a national educator for L’Oreal Professionnel. I knew how to build a business. But, when I decided to pivot into the equestrian world, every old insecurity I had came roaring to the surface.

I remembered washing out of my biology degree because I couldn't get past Trigonometry. I remembered the feeling of being "just a tradesperson."

When I sat down to sign up for a prestigious, high-intensity leadership program (the kind where you don't just watch videos, you do the work), I almost didn't click "submit." I felt like an imposter. I was terrified of being "found out."

Then, the cohort happened.

My peers didn't care about my Trig grades. They didn't care that I didn't have a PhD. They cared about the work. They pushed me to stop hiding behind "planning" and start shipping.
They taught me that perfection is a trap. They taught me that "failing forward" is the only way to find the "Possible."

That experience gave me confidence and a new lens through which to see the world. And when I looked at the equestrian industry, I saw a glaring, painful gap.

We are elite athletes. We are master horsemen. But we are often "tradespeople" who have never been given professional development that isn't about riding.

We are sought after to fix training issues but not taught how to fix a broken business model. We are taught how to manage a barn, but not how to manage our own psychology, our money mindset, or our boundaries.

This is why I created the EquiClarity Collaborative.

I’m bringing the "shipping" mentality to the horse world. I’m bringing the rigor of a professional leadership cohort to the people who need it most: the ones in the trenches of the equine industry.

This is a 10-week, LIVE experiment for 15 people who are ready to:

Today, the cycle shifts.

It’s February 17th—the start of the Year of the Fire Horse. In the Chinese Zodiac, this is a 1-in-60-year alignment. It represents a rare surge of independence, passion, and natural leadership.

But for those of us in the equestrian industry, "leadership" is often a word we only use for the horse. We rarely apply it to ourselves, our businesses, or our boundaries.

I’m looking for 15 people who want to change that.

I’m opening the doors to the EquiClarity Collaborative. This isn't a "course" you watch in the dark. It’s a 10-week, LIVE professional cohort modeled after the most rigorous leadership programs in the world.

This is for the professional who is ready for:

The Rigor: A curated reading list that challenges how you think about money, psychology, and systems.

The Peer Group: A small, high-level cohort where you give and receive feedback in real-time. No "business as usual."
