This made me cry.
I found it by complete chance when I was researching something yesterday. They didn’t tell me they wrote it.
I’ve been working late through these super hot afternoons and feeling a little defeated.
This is a great reminder of my why.
I really do love each and every one of you and your horses.

Controversies and conversations around laminitis causes and treatment have been increasingly heated lately. It has gotten to the point where official statements have been put out from various companies and even organizations such as ECIR, who has been pioneering and funding laminitis research for decades. So what do I do in the midst of all this?

I decided to chat with three of my favorite UK farriers about it all: Robbie Richardson, Mark Johnson, and Matthew Jackson.

We dig into what they see as the main causes of laminitis, and some of the claims floating around about laminitis causes and rehabilitation. We don't shy away from some difficult conversations.

Another nice glow up! This sweet girl was purchased in rough shape and her new owner is helping her become the best she can be. I can feel these horses completely change over a course of months. They finally realize they are in the hands of someone who cares. I can’t wait to see her shine.

First trim on this sweet rescued Tennessee Walker

I’m excited to see how far he comes with consistent thrush treatment, exercise, and being trimmed on a schedule. He is a super sweet boy.
Today was a start.

Nice changes happening over the last 6 months for this dear donkey girl. She still needs a little dorm for trimming, but we are slowly gaining her trust.
Her front right (the left one as you’re looking at it) was very wonky when we started.
She had some pockets of thrush and I think that’s what started her wearing her hooves that way originally. Those pockets are gone and she is doing great.
I am getting closer to being her friend and that’s the part that makes me the happiest.
I love donkeys. ❤️
