Happy Saturday from the ranch! 🐾

We welcomed Hazel for overnight camping and said goodbye to Walter and Winston. Those boys sure know how to get DIRTY while they’re here 😂 Luckily, we offer the best spa packages, so they’re heading home smelling fresh and clean!

We enjoyed the cooler weather and a little sunshine on our fur today. Nothing better than a day outside at the ranch! ☀️🐶

The wind was blowing, and those cooler temps have officially arrived!

We split the pack up into three groups today. We had our two main hikes, plus Libby took up the dawdle with her own little crew. We also picked her up for overnight camp, so she gets to spend the weekend with us!

Four of our day campers are heading home nice and clean after a spa day following their hike.

We are SO ready for this weekend! 🍂🐾

Another successful day here at the ranch!

We welcomed Walter/Winston and Augie/Clyde as overnight campers. Benny brought out Bella’s younger self. Bella is one of our super seniors, but every once in a while, a certain dog makes her feel like a puppy again. It was SO fun watching her frolic around! 🥹❤️

We split the pups into four different groups today, and three dogs went home smelling nice and fresh after their spa day!

Another day of adventures, fresh air, and happy pups at the ranch! 🐾

Gus would like to personally thank everyone for letting him be the first drop-off on Wednesdays! ❤️

I didn’t even realize until I started writing this post that today marks exactly ONE YEAR since Gus’s first day at the ranch!

When Gus first started coming to daycamp, his mama told me he gets anxious in the car. He lives with two other dogs, so we felt terrible leaving him behind, especially because he loved coming to the ranch so much. We decided to give it a try and see how he did.

Because of where Gus lives, we would naturally pick him up last, which meant he was also the last to be dropped off. This made him spend the longest time on the bus during our drop-off route, and he was struggling. So I told his mama we would work with him, and on Wednesdays, we started reversing our route so Gus could be dropped off first.

It helped SO much! But even then, he would still get nervous. It wasn’t the highway that bothered him. It was when we would stop at another house and walk away from the bus to drop off another dog. He just didn’t love being left behind.

But we knew how much he loved his days at the ranch, and we weren’t about to give up on him.

Then, about a month ago, something just clicked! We started noticing a huge difference in Gus, and the last few Wednesdays, we’ve been running our NORMAL route. And guess what? This boy has been absolutely FANTASTIC! 🥹

So, from the bottom of Gus’s heart, THANK YOU for letting us make that little adjustment for him over the past year. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Gus is officially graduating from his special Wednesday drop-off routine, and we’ll be returning to our normal route going forward!

We’re so proud of you, Gus! 🐾❤️

We did one big group hike, and Shazza baby got her very own hike catered just to her. 💚

Happy Monday!

All of our lodgers went home today, so it looks like Austin is finally getting back to normal 😂

We split the pack into four groups today and enjoyed a little reset after a busy weekend. Now we’re recharged and ready to take on another week of ranch life! 🐾🌿

We had 5 pups head home this morning, but we still have a full pack here at the ranch! 🐶

The cooler weather had everyone feeling extra spry today! Nothing a good hike through nature and a refreshing swim couldn’t fix. 🌿💦

Now the pack is winding down, relaxing, and enjoying the rest of this beautiful Sunday. 🤎

LET’S GO, TEXAS! WE GOT THIS! 🤘🏼🏈🔥

And to everyone attending weekend two of ACL… I hate you for the traffic, but I also have FOMO. 😂🎵

Let’s give a big, warm ranch welcome to Inks! 🐾 She is an absolute gentle giant! She quickly made friends with Duke, Benny, and Banks, did great on her leashed walk, and, like most of our campers, absolutely thrived at the ponds. 💦🐶

We have a PACKED house this weekend with our overnight campers, and the ranch was buzzing with adventure today! We tackled 5 hikes, including one special outing with our dawdlers. 🌿🐾

Between the trails, pond time, and all the new friendships, it was another action-packed day at the ranch!

Now let’s see if Texas can bring home the W! 🏈🤘🏼
