86 venomous snakes. One faux hand. About six seconds. Will they bite it? In this video we conduct a side experiment to get a general idea of how many rattlesnakes within our collection would willingly unalive our fingers when provided an opportunity. We take a silicone hand replica, scent it like a human, and warm it up using a blow dryer to get as close to a realistic test as possible. So, what do you think? Watch this video as we wiggle this artificial hand in a bunch of rattlesnakes faces here at our zoo, and see what they end up doing. You may be a bit surprised to see the results!

Watch this video to see more about the conference, the Chiricahua Desert Museum & Geronimo Event Center, and all of the awesome wildlife/herps that we came across while there.
