Even thought we all love cute little bunny rabbits and chocolate Reece easter eggs.... this days is about the lord Jesus rising from the dead after being in hell for three days suffering for our sins.

For this I will be forever grateful!

It wasn't Buddha, it wasn't the hindu god of the rats, it wasn't Mother Nature that came and save my soul... It was Jesus Christ alone! No-one told me the story or did a bible study with me. I was a dirty rotten rat left alone to die and Jesus saved me and made me a different person all together.

For this I will be forever grateful.

You know... One of the greatest feeling in the fish hobby is when something goes wrong and you know exactly what to do and have all the stuff to do it right!

We had a large pump overheat and blow the breaker on the power strip in our 200 gallon Pacu tank. Apparently for quite a while. When I got home from work everything was moving slowly, no air, no pump, and one of the three 24" Pacu was floating sideways and gasping.

Panic mode!!! Got the electricity back up and all the pumps running, added an extra large air pump and all kinds of large air stones, pushed her around in the air bubbles for a while, and finally got her moving around a little bit. Still sideways...

A few prayers the lord wouldn't allow one of my buddies to die from suffocation, and a little sleep.... when I got up she was swimming around like a champ!!! And eating well.

I LOVE THIS!!!! I'm glad she made it!! I can have all the automatons and back ups and STILL something goes wrong!!

So yes! You can keep your fish in the pond throughout the winter as long as you keep some water circulating and keep the ice from freezing over completely. We need to keep it bubbling, and I will sometimes put an extra large heater down at the bottom just for a little extra warm blanket.
