Need help with your pet when our office is closed?

We want our clients to know that you still have options on Fridays, weekends, and after hours.

📱 Established clients may text our clinic number (the same number that sends appointment reminders). While messages may be reviewed outside of business hours, this line is not continuously monitored and should not be used for urgent concerns.

🚨 If your pet needs immediate attention or you're unsure whether the situation is urgent, please contact VetTriage at 1-800-940-1921.

VetTriage is an extension of our after-hours communication system. Their team gathers information about your pet's condition and communicates directly with Dr. Carla when needed, helping us stay informed and provide guidance even when the clinic is closed.

If VetTriage recommends that your pet be seen at Gilbertson Veterinary Clinic for the same concern, we will apply a $25 credit toward your visit.

Our goal is simple: to help you make the best decision for your pet without wondering where to turn when the office is closed.

Gilbertson Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Technician!

As many of you know, Allie has been such an important part of our clinic. While we are incredibly excited for her as she moves on to a new chapter in life, her absence here will absolutely be felt.

We are looking for a kind, dependable technician to join our growing small-animal practice in Cavalier. We are especially interested in someone comfortable with anesthesia and surgical support, though we are happy to help the right person continue growing their skills.

We are happy to offer flexibility. While our clinic is open Monday–Thursday, the exact schedule does not necessarily need to look like four 8-hour days each week. We are very open to discussing what works best for the right candidate.
Competitive pay, no weekends, paid holidays, PTO, continuing education support, and a genuinely supportive small-team environment.

Ms. B’s class stopped by for a tour of the clinic, and we had so much fun showing them around and answering all of their great questions.
