Today marks 4 years since I opened Emily’s Mobile Grooming.

Four years ago, I took a leap of faith and turned something I loved into my own business. Looking back, I honestly can’t believe how far it has come.

These four years have brought so many amazing clients, so many wonderful dogs, and countless memories that I will always be grateful for. It has not always been easy. There have been long days, challenges, stressful moments, and plenty of times when I wondered if I was crazy for doing this. But through it all, I have continued to grow, learn, and build something that I am truly proud to call mine.

I am so incredibly thankful to every person who has trusted me with their dogs and supported my business over the past four years. Whether you have been with me since the beginning or found me along the way, thank you. Every appointment, referral, recommendation, review, and word of encouragement has meant more to me than you know.

I am also thankful for the people in my life who believed in me and encouraged me to take that first step. Starting a business is a huge leap, and having people behind you makes all the difference.

Four years later, I can honestly say I am so grateful I took that chance.

Here’s to four years of Emily’s Mobile Grooming and to many more years doing what I love.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. I truly appreciate you more than words can say.

Important info for the extreme heat we are experiencing this week:

Also important to note: if you suspect that your pet may be experiencing heat stress make sure to use LUKE WARM water NOT COLD.

Lukewarm or cool water is crucial during pet heat stress to avoid dropping their body temperature too rapidly. Extremely cold water or ice causes blood vessels near the skin to constrict. This traps trapped heat inside the core organs and can send the animal into shock

Please keep your pets inside during this heatwave!
Refrain from taking them on walks if possible, but if its absolutely necessary please either get up extra early, or wait for after sunset.
Every summer I find blistered paw pads because of pups walking on hot surfaces.

We all love our pets, but many forget to take this into consideration.

🌡️ 🔥 Temps on the surface are MUCH HOTTER than just the air.
It’s heat to let them out early in the morning or late evening/night.
Or, make sure to stay on the grass if you can.
