With Summer, comes vacations and traveling! Here are some helpful tips to prepare for boarding reservations for your fur-babies before you leave!

1) Check with your boarding facility for REQUIRED vaccinations, every facility is different and has their own requirements
2) Talk to Veterinarian about RECOMMENDED vaccinations if your boarding facility does not require them
3) Plan to get your pet's vaccinations AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to boarding, it takes approximately that long for vaccinations to fully take effect.
4) Be sure to give your boarding facility your Veterinarian's contact information in case of an emergency

Be sure to give us a call if you have questions regarding vaccinations or recommendations for local boarding facilities. Appointments are filling up quickly, be sure to set up your appointment with plenty of time before traveling! Safe travels and Happy Summer!
