We're back from Championships! Brenda took Nova (owned by Julie) to Championships again this year (2nd and 3rd Level). Last year was a bit scary for poor Nova and he was quickly overwhelmed by the big atmosphere, however this year we had a great time and Nova much improved his relaxation in such a busy environment. He was a good boy even with some very stressful moments (loose horse(s)!) and we are very proud of him. Thank you Heidi Gaian for the coaching.

We had an absolutely wonderful visit with our old friend Sabrina Fuerlinger ❤️. She got to visit her favorite horse (Mrs. P) and take a ride on Willa. We loved getting to see her again after so many years and getting to spend time with her beautiful children. We miss you Sabrina! Thank you for coming for a visit.

Lots of first for Team BEST this past weekend at Starr Vaughn. Jax went with two riders for his first show in almost a year. It was Clare’s first time showing second level (Clare is Jax’s owner). They did great with a nice score and a blue ribbon for their test together. It was Beth’s first ti...

Woodside and Yarra Yarra are done with lots of showing activity for us.

Nova and Brenda are now qualified for Champs at 2nd and 3rd Level and had two great days of showing with lots of blue ribbons.

Sophie and Tamale tackled 3rd level for the first time with flying colors and two Super scores. Sophie only needs one more score from a 2nd judge for her Bronze Medal and Tamale is officially a 3rd level horse.

Trevor and Brenda had another solid showing at PSG and have completed his qualifications for All Breeds this year. He is done for the year and will get to play around in the off season to see what's next!

Willa and Brenda showed at both shows at 3rd Level working towards their All Breeds qualifications.

Sophie took out Kelly’s boy Tamale again to get him more show ring experience this year. Tamale and Sophie went out at 1st Level and 2nd Level again this show and he’s proving to be more than proficient at both levels now. He earned three excellent scores over 65% and 2 wins in his 2nd Level classes. Good boy Tamale! He’s getting so grown up. Sophie is also gathering scores for her USDF Bronze Medal and with this show now has all of her 1st and 2nd Level scores out of the way. They made it look easy! Well done Sophie and Tamale!

Sophie took out Kelly's boy Tamale for his first show of the season and earned three scores over 67% towards her Bronze and Bronze with distinction. They also grabbed up a couple of 1st places. We had a great show! Looking forward to the next one.

Brenda went out with her 3rd horse for the year trying to qualify for things. This time it was her little Willa taking her first time out at 3rd level. She earned a good score to start her towards here 2026 All Breeds for Appaloosa! It was a good start to the year and at 3rd Level for little Willa!

Yarra Yarra was a busy show for us this year as always! Brenda went to ride two client horses…the mighty little Trevor and the tall, dark and handsome Nova. Maya also had her very first show with Dandy!

Maya and Dandy won big at their first show and hit a excellent 69.8% and a 1st in a good sized class (with two other great scores as well) for a super first show together.

Nova continued to learn to be a show horse and is qualified for Championships at 3rd Level.

The mighty Trevor had two great PSG tests for 2 blue ribbons and two solid scores towards his All Breeds at PSG. He's gone back down a level to try and fill that hole in his resume and so far it's going swimmingly!
