It was a trainer day at May's Dressage Derby with Brenda and Trevor going out at PSG again and Sophie taking out Tamale for his first show of the year at 1st and 2nd Levels.

Trevor won his PSG AGAIN! Two shows in a row now with two nice scores towards his All Breeds. 🎉

Sophie took out Kelly's boy Tamale for his first show of the season and earned three scores over 67% towards her Bronze and Bronze with distinction. They also grabbed up a couple of 1st places. We had a great show! Looking forward to the next one.

Brenda went out with her 3rd horse for the year trying to qualify for things. This time it was her little Willa taking her first time out at 3rd level. She earned a good score to start her towards here 2026 All Breeds for Appaloosa! It was a good start to the year and at 3rd Level for little Willa!

Yarra Yarra was a busy show for us this year as always! Brenda went to ride two client horses…the mighty little Trevor and the tall, dark and handsome Nova. Maya also had her very first show with Dandy!

Maya and Dandy won big at their first show and hit a excellent 69.8% and a 1st in a good sized class (with two other great scores as well) for a super first show together.

Nova continued to learn to be a show horse and is qualified for Championships at 3rd Level.

The mighty Trevor had two great PSG tests for 2 blue ribbons and two solid scores towards his All Breeds at PSG. He's gone back down a level to try and fill that hole in his resume and so far it's going swimmingly!

First show of the year is done for us. It was a quiet one with Brenda taking out Julie's Nova at 2nd and 3rd levels to gather some scores for championship qualifications and get some more show miles for him. He has been lightly shown and so is still getting used to the whole being a show horse thing. They knocked off some dust and got three good scores and a solid 66% 3rd test 3. They are showing again this weekend at Yarra Yarra as well. Happy to get the show season started.

We had two horses earn All Breeds Awards for 2025.

Trevor earned I1 Champion Open & I1 Champion Professional Vintage Cup with Brenda for the Arabian Horse Association.

Willa earned 2nd Level Reserve Champion and 2nd Level Champion Professional Vintage Cup with the Appaloosa Horse Club.

Special shout out to Trevor who has earned All Breeds Champion at Training, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 4th Level Freestyle AND I1 over the years. He'll be stepping back to PSG for 2026 to try to get that missing Championship for that level! What an amazing horse he is.

Happy Holidays to everyone from Beare Equestrian! We had our lovely holiday brunch this last weekend with lots of yummy food, the best gift exchange, and even a fun game we introduced this year.

Thank you for a wonderful 2025! Looking forward to making more memories with you all in 2026.

Nova and Brenda went out for more experience at shows and Rachel and Jax tried their hand again at PSG. Everyone did well!

Two pairs went to Vacaville to wrap up 2025 (or start 2026)! It was absolutely perfect horse show weather. CNDC always puts on a great show. Brenda and Nova went out at 3rd level again to wrack up more show miles for this boy. Asking for relaxation and not pushing for flash, Brenda and Nova ended up...
