Angus & Friends Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Castro Valley, CA dedicated to helping feral cats.

Angus & Friends Cat Rescue is a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2022. Angus & Friends works collaboratively with other groups to do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and to find loving homes for as many stray cats and kittens as possible. We are passionate about the cats, and about educating the public about ways to help the cats and kittens that cross their paths with the goal of reducing the numbers of community cats on the streets. Our organization is dedicated to the memory of Angus, a 15-year-old orange tabby who was found on death's door by people who lived in his neighborhood who assumed he had a home. He didn't, but probably did at one time, because he turned out to be friendly, though very sick. Efforts were made to save him, but he ultimately had to be put down because he was not recovering after a blood transfusion due to flea anemia. Our goal is to help as many homeless cats and kittens as possible to get off the mean streets and place them in new loving, furrever homes.

🖤🤍 Meet Theodore, the cutest little tuxedo gentleman looking for his fur-ever home! 🐱🍁 Dressed in his classic black-and-white coat, this handsome boy is ready to bring a whole lot of love and purrs into your life! 🏡❤️

💕 Theodore might be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time, and you'll discover what a sweetheart he truly is! Before long, he'll want to be right by your side and even snuggle up with you at bedtime. 🥰🛏️

Hi, my name is Ollie! 🐱💕 I was rescued after being found all by myself in a parking lot, without my mama or siblings. 🥺💔 But now I'm safe, and I'm ready to find my very own forever home! 🏡❤️

I'm a sweet, observant boy. 👀🐾 My foster mom says I'm very calm, and we're working together to help me build my confidence. 💕 I really like being in the same room as my favorite human because just being near you makes me happy! 🥰

When people visit my home, they always tell me I have extra-soft fur and beautiful eyes. ✨👀 Some even say I look like a little panther because I'm so shiny and graceful! 🖤🐈‍⬛ I guess you could say I'm a mini jungle king! 👑🐾

I absolutely adore my foster brothers and sisters! 😻💕 We play together all the time, and we even give each other baths. 🛁😹 I try not to play too rough, but I do love running around the family room and having fun! 🏃‍♂️🐾 My foster mom thinks I'd fit right in with a family that already has another cat or two. 🐱🐱❤️

🎂 I was born approximately May 31, 2026, and I'm all ready for my next big adventure! I've been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so all I need now is a loving family to call my own. 🏡💖

💙 Jumbles is a gentle, friendly little guy who absolutely loves people! He’ll happily trot over to greet you and start purring the moment you give him attention. This curious boy has plenty of playful kitten energy, loves romping around with his siblings, and is always ready for some snuggle time. 🥰

💗 Tumbles is the gentle soul of the litter. Sweet, calm, and incredibly affectionate, she loves cuddling up with her favorite people after playtime. She’s also the little “mom” of the group, keeping an eye on her siblings and making sure everyone gets plenty of grooming and TLC. 💕

🌸 Poppy is looking for her very own shadow buddy—you! She loves being around people and is all about the hugs, kisses, cuddles, and attention. 🥰 She's still figuring out the whole toy-playing thing, but once she gets the hang of it, the fun begins! When it's time to recharge, Poppy enjoys long naps in the most unusual places. Who needs a pumpkin patch when you can curl up just about anywhere? 😴🍂

Hi, everyone! I’m Mr. Hanks — Mr. Tom Hanks, if you please! ⭐😸 And I’m ready to make a blockbuster debut in my fur-ever home this fall!
🍁 I love climbing, exploring, and performing all my own stunts. Falling leaves? No problem! Scaling the cat tree? Absolutely! But a suspicious piece of lint? Yikes! 😹 I’m a brave little adventurer, but I like having someone nearby to make me feel safe when things get a little too scary.
💕 My foster mom says I’m a fantastic cuddler, so after a busy day of autumn adventures, I’m happy to snuggle up for some quality couch time. I get along great with other cats, dogs, a tortoise, and even a rabbit. But let’s be honest… everyone knows I’m the STAR! 🌟
