🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM OUR SHELTER 🚨

We are currently OVER CAPACITY and, unfortunately, we are unable to take in any additional dogs or cats at this time. 💔

🐾 If you are able to adopt, please come meet the amazing animals currently waiting for their forever homes.

🏡 If you can temporarily foster, even for a short time, please reach out to us. A temporary foster home can make a HUGE difference and may allow us to help another animal in need.

We know these are difficult times, and we truly appreciate everyone who supports our shelter and the animals in our care. ❤️

If you can help in ANY way, please reach out to us. Together, we can make room to save more lives. 🐾

🐾 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT — TEMPORARY CAT INTAKE PAUSE 🐾

🚨 Emery County Animal Shelter will be pausing all cat intakes for two weeks due to a Panleukopenia (Panleuk) outbreak in our community. 🚨

We are taking this precaution seriously to help protect the cats currently in our care and prevent further spread of this highly contagious virus.

📅 We will NOT be accepting cat owner surrenders or stray cats until September 23rd, 2026.

We understand this may be difficult for our community, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to keep our shelter animals safe. ❤️

🐱 If you find a stray cat during this time, please consider safely keeping it separated from other cats while looking for its owner, send us a message on here wirh picture and where found and we will post to try to help find the owner.

💉 Please make sure your cats are vaccinated. Vaccination is one of the most important ways you can help protect your cats from Panleuk and other serious diseases.

Thank you for helping us keep our community cats safe! 🐾❤️
