e Ohio attorney General's office. 100% of all contributions, donations and profits from fundraisers is used to met the costs associated with caring for our rescues. All labor for their care is from volunteers: we have no paid employees. Since 2010 we have taken in over 50 horses mules and donkeys, all of whom have been transformed into lesson horses, pleasure and trail horses, or companion animals. Tours are available by appointment.

This past weekend KLS Equine Rescue, Inc hosted our annual 4 Man Dartball Tournament. What a great time! Here is just a smidgen of the competitors, their crews, friends, volunteers and staff at the American Legion, who kept us fed and hydrated! In addition to the dartball games, we had raffles and a Queen of Hearts board to keep everyone busy. Thank you to Billy & Hayley Alten who organized this event and kept things rolling!

Donations needed: This is Scarlett, a 12 year old Paint mare. Scarlett is good for beginning riders and lessons. She's been to the Erie County Fair 6 years. Scarlett has lymphoma and requires medications which are $400.00 a month. Donations may be made to KLS Equine Rescue, 5402 Tiffin Ave, Castalia, Ohio.
