These parents are both first timers, so I was a bit shocked and amazed to find these little beauties! She started pulling wool on Wednesday, was “due” Saturday, and had them this morning! This is the biggest litter I’ve had in a while. I’ve been getting a lot of 2-3 count litters. I believe one is a REW, the others likely torts.

Say hello to Di’s Litt’l Angels Snuggles, SS Buck.

He’s only 3 weeks old so he has a long way to grow before an actual evaluation, but I’m liking him so far. This is the first time I tried posing him. Over all I think he did pretty good.

Polo is compact, coby, has good bones, good top line, has nice wool density and texture, no pin-bone issues, nice chest width, no sign of pinch, has nice size, shape and placement of ears. His black coloring is sharp and clear and his separation is distinct! He should still show nicely as a senior. He’s super cute! Wish I could keep him!

My lighting isn’t great so the photos don’t do him justice! I will be attending the Labor Day weekend show in Murfreesboro, TN and plan to show him there, unless someone scoops him up and wants to show him against his brother Marco!😊 He can hop from there! I also work with most transports! PM with any❓.

This guy just became a hard cull! I have never had one of my own rabbits outright bite me. In all the years I’ve done this and all the rabbits I’ve handled! Nibbles, yes, but, Ralphie crossed the line.

He bit me the first time yesterday. I reached in and he lunged at me and bit my finger, I yelled no, and continued to remove him from his cage, I brushed him, scolded him, told him if he bit me again he would become lunch, I posed him, and put him back. I even reached in again before leaving the shed and he let me pet him; so I figured he’d learned.

I went out today, he came up to the front of the cage, when I opened the door he moved to the back as normal; I spoke to him, told him to be nice; gently grabbed him from behind his head/shoulder area and brought him out of the cage; he didn’t lunge so I figured I was safe; as I moved my other hand to grab his tummy to set him down on the grooming table, he grabbed my thumb; when I said no, and pulled away, he bit down harder! I literally had to beat him on the top of his head with my other fist, multiple times before he finally let go! I’m not sure he didn’t hit bone! I bled really good, so I know the bite is cleaned, but this rabbit just earned his way to the hard cull pile.

I’ve NEVER hard culled a rabbit. If I’m not keeping one or it’s not one I’ll put on the table myself, it goes to a pet home. Not this boy! He can’t be sold. Bye Ralphie! DANG IT! He was a really nice rabbit (great wool, great body)! I was really looking forward to finishing show him and breeding him too!!! 😡😢😡😢

Check these bunnies out. I’ve seen them in person. Very nice!
