POLICY INFORMATION
Hello Jamie’s Ruff Cuts Grooming family! 🐾
I just want to say thank you. I am incredibly grateful for all of your support. Because of you, my business continues to grow, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful new furry friends and their amazing families.
As my schedule becomes busier, these policies will help me stay organized, keep appointments running smoothly, and continue providing the calm, one-on-one grooming experience that every pup deserves.
Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and continued support. I truly appreciate each and every one of you, and I’m so thankful you’ve chosen Jamie’s Ruff Cuts Grooming to care for your furry family members. I look forward to many more tail wags, happy grooms, and years together! ❤️🐶
As of July 1, I’ve introduced a few new policies that I’d like to share with you.
⏰LATE ARRIVAL POLICY: If you are more than 15 minutes late for drop-off, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. If you are late for pick-up, an additional fee may apply and your pet will need to remain crated until pick-up.
🚕 PET TAXI POLICY: charging will be determined based on distance
💈MATTING POLICY: Matted coats can be uncomfortable and even painful for your pup. For the safety and well-being of your dog, severely matted coats may require a shorter shave-down rather than brushing out, as de-matting can cause stress, skin irritation, or injury. Additional fees may apply depending on the severity of the matting and the extra time required. My priority is always your pet’s comfort and safety, and I will always choose the most humane option.
💉 VACCINATION POLICY : For the health and safety of all pets, I ask that dogs be current on their core vaccinations or have a veterinarian-approved exemption if medically necessary.
Recommended vaccinations include:
* Rabies (required by law)
* DHPP (Distemper/Parvo)
* Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Please notify me before your appointment if your dog cannot receive vaccinations due to age or a medical condition. I reserve the right to refuse service if I believe it is in the best interest of your pet or the safety of other pets.
🐾FLEA POLICY: While I take every precaution to maintain a clean and safe environment, I cannot guarantee that your pet will never be exposed to fleas, ticks, or other parasites.
* My yard is routinely treated for fleas and other pests, and my own pets are kept on flea prevention.
* However, fleas and other parasites are a natural part of the environment and can be carried by wildlife, neighboring animals, or other outdoor factors beyond my control.
* I have chickens and outdoor cats on the property. They are never in contact with grooming dogs and remain separate at all times, although they do share the yard at different times throughout the day.
* By bringing your dog to Jamie’s Ruff Cuts Grooming, you understand and accept that I am not responsible for any fleas, ticks, or other parasites your pet may acquire before, during, or after their visit.
If your dog arrives with an active flea infestation:
* A flea treatment fee may be added if treatment is necessary.
* If the infestation is severe, I may need to reschedule the appointment until your pet has been properly treated to help protect other pets in my care.
Flea Prevention Acknowledgement
Flea prevention is strongly recommended for every dog to help protect their health and reduce the risk of bringing fleas into the home or salon.
