🎓🐾 Big Congratulations to Charlie! 🐾🎓

At just 14 months old, Charlie has officially passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen Test! 🎉

The CGC program recognizes dogs that demonstrate good manners, obedience, and the ability to remain calm and confident in everyday situations. From polite greetings to walking nicely on a leash, Charlie showed that he’s not just a handsome Golden Retriever—he’s a true gentleman.

We’re so proud of all the hard work Charlie and his family have put into training and socialization. Achievements like this don’t happen overnight, especially for a young dog with all the excitement the world has to offer!

Join us in congratulating Charlie on this pawsome accomplishment. We can’t wait to see what he achieves next! 🦮⭐

This June, Bubbles turns 13… at least we think so. As a rescue from the Bronx, some of his early records remain classified.

After finding his dad in New York, Bubbles and his brother Reggie made the move to Central Florida, where they now enjoy year-round walks, endless sunshine, and plenty of sunbathing.

At 13, Bubbles is still cool, confident, and always on duty. Happy Birthday, Bubbles! 🖤

Happy 8th Birthday, Finn! 🎉🐾

Finn stopped by for his annual exam, rabies vaccine, and a birthday mani-pedi. 💅

For his birthday photo, Finn recruited Julie as his es**rt, proving she’s just as great with dogs as she is with cats. ❤️

With a clean bill of health and freshly trimmed nails, Finn is ready to celebrate another trip around the sun.

Help us wish this handsome boy a very happy 8th birthday! 🎂🐶

This week we celebrated milestones! Dr. Tonks graduated 20 years ago from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. Jette just hit 10 years since graduating from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Also a special shout-out to Dr. Berelsman, who’s celebrating her 13 years since graduating from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.

We’re proud of all the graduates this week—cheers to your next chapters!

⚠️Thunderstorms can be stressful for our furry friends. Sweet Ellie came to see us today after yesterday’s storms caused quite a scare at home. In her panic, she partially broke out of her metal crate and became stuck, causing some minor bleeding.

Thankfully, Ellie is okay and headed home with some anxiety medication to help keep her calmer and safer during future storms. 💛

Storm anxiety is more common than many people realize. If your pet struggles with thunder, fireworks, or other loud noises, we’re here to help with ways to make them more comfortable and safe at home. 🐾

🎉🐾 Happy 4th Birthday, Marley! 🐾🎉

Marley the Irish-doodle recently stopped by for an ear check, and we couldn’t let her visit pass without celebrating her big day! 🎂 At 4 years old, Marley is all smiles, curls, and tail wags—and she was a wonderful patient during her visit.

Floppy-eared pups like Marley can sometimes be prone to ear irritation, so quick ear checks help keep them comfortable and infection-free. We’re happy to report Marley handled her visit like a pro! 👩‍⚕️🐶

Please help us wish Marley a very happy birthday filled with treats, belly rubs, and plenty of adventures with her favorite people. 💛

Frances Bean came in for her annual exam, and let’s just say… she clearly doesn’t mind visiting the doctor. 💃🐾

This little superstar performed her “happy dance” the moment she walked through the door—tail wagging, paws prancing, and ready for all the attention from the team. It’s safe to say Frances Bean knows this is a place where good things happen!

Annual exams are more than just a quick check-in. They help us:
• Catch small issues before they become big ones
• Monitor weight, teeth, skin, eyes, and overall health
• Keep vaccines and preventatives up to date

Even pets who seem perfectly healthy (like Frances Bean!) benefit from a yearly nose-to-tail checkup. Prevention is one of the best ways to keep our furry friends happy, active, and dancing for years to come. 🐶✨

We think Bean earned extra treats for being such a good patient today!

Did you know Orange County recently updated its animal welfare rules? 🐾

For the first time in nearly 20 years, new protections are being rolled out to help keep pets safer and healthier in our community. Some changes pet owners should know about:

🔹 Puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old and examined by a veterinarian before being sold
🔹 Pets reclaimed from Animal Services will now need to be microchipped
🔹 Trap-neuter-return programs for community cats are now officially supported

Microchips, routine veterinary care, and spay/neuter are some of the best ways we can help keep pets safe. ❤️

🐶🐱

Orange County has strengthened its animal welfare ordinance to offer stronger protections for vulnerable pets, including tighter rules on pet sales, mandatory microchipping, impounding procedures, and more. It’s been more than two decades since this ordinance underwent significant, comprehensive c...
