Allow me to introduce myself:
My name is Kelly, and I want to take pictures of you and your pets. I’ve never heard anyone say “I wish I had fewer photos of my pets!” And if your camera roll is anything like mine, it’s just dogs, dogs, dogs, cat, dogs, and maybe a flower or Mountain View peppered in there.
I have been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years as a Certified Veterinary Technician and am a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Professional. My experience in the field has taught me that our pets are more than companions. They’re family, and they deserve everything wonderful in the world. In your camera roll, I’m sure there are tons of pictures of your pets, but how many of them have YOU in them!? I have no doubt you’re an amazing caregiver, and you deserve to have memories of you and your best friends together. Memories to cherish forever. Because my career in veterinary medicine has taught me something else: our pets will not be there for our whole lives, but we are their whole lives. They love us just as much as we love them.
I have some tricks up my sleeve to make your pets feel comfortable and encourage play and fun during your photo session. Pet portraits take patience, knowledge of body language, and a calm presence. If I can collect a blood sample from your pet, I bet I can take some pretty cute photos of them!
I love to travel around Wyoming to all its beautiful places. I love camping and hiking with my two dogs, Dottie and Maximus (aka Moose). They are heavily featured in my portfolio. I’ll meet you at your favorite beautiful places no matter how far.
Visit my website at www.wagthedogphotography.com to see package options. As mentioned, pet portraits take patience. The time slots outlined are a guide, but I’ll stay out as long as we feel is necessary to get you the photos you are paying for. Some pets need a warm up period, and that’s just fine with me. I love becoming best friends with other people’s pets.
I’m so happy to be here and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends. (Species not limited to furry ones. We also accept scales and feathers).
