He has found his new home! Thank you to everyone interested.
Harvey is a Belgian/QH cross in Casco, Maine. He is 5 yrs old and 16.1 hands. He is barefoot but we are using boots until the nail holes grow out. He is currently trail riding about 25 miles per week and does a little ringwork but not much. He needs muscle tone and time to finish growing but would love a partner that wants to teach him fun new things while he finishes up.
Harvey has no bad habits and rides as steady as can be. He consistantly w/t/c with minimal aids and quietly. He is up to date on vaccines and coggins for the state of Maine. He is excellent for the farrier, vet, dentist and to be caught. He is hauler's dream.
He has traveled extensively and was used in a team at large events with lots of commotion, vehicles people and other horses. He has never been driven single. He's good with traffic, ATV's and strange sights and sounds. He barely looks at new bridges enjoys water and will go off trail while you break branches and navigate brush very calmly.
He's safe with dogs, kids and other horses. He's currently in a mixed herd on grass at night, hay during the day and gets a balancer ration.
