The Ohio National Poultry Show is less than a MONTH away!

So, I have a very important question for everyoneโ€ฆ WHO ALL IS GOING, AND WHATโ€™S GOING TO BE FOR SALE?! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Your boy absolutely, positively does NOT need any more birds. My pens are full, my wallet is tired, and I have absolutely no business bringing anything homeโ€ฆ

BUT LETโ€™S BE REAL. I feel like buying birds at an event like this is basically a requirement.

So come on people! ๐Ÿ‘€ Drop a comment and tell me what youโ€™re bringing that will be looking for a new home. What colors, what breeds, what hidden gems should I be keeping an eye out for?

Asking for a friend, obviously.

Summer is officially gone here in Wisconsin and the winter prep starts now.

Last year I added a heater for my chicken coop and it was life changing for me and my birds. I know heating your coop is always a huge debate in the poultry community.

Can birds survive in cold weather? Sure.

But the thing is......

I want my birds to thrive not just survive.

When it's negative -30ยฐF wind chills my birds are sitting at 45ยฐ all winter...

Happy and content.

What works for you?
