This early morning I lost my Ellen.

This is the part of chicken keeping that we all hate the most. No answers. Just gone.

I tried a lot, but today it doesnā€™t feel like enough. Part of me feels like I failed her.

The truth is that sometimes our birds leave us despite our best efforts. We can provide good feed, clean water, safe housing, and all the care in the world, yet some losses still donā€™t come with an explanation.

The hard part will be going outside and not seeing her spicy self there.

Hey guys. Please help. I need suggestions. I am not sure what to do for my Ellen.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? What did you do?

Iā€™ve been feeding her by herself with extra food and treats. Itā€™s just so odd as sheā€™s not active at all. She used to be full of personality and life.

Iā€™m not sure if I should be laughing or sad because my sisterā€™s road probably gets 2 cars a day with one being the mail manšŸ˜‚

The entrepreneurial spirit is there though! If you happen to be one of those two cars, eggs are available. šŸ¤£
