Greet Katie and Loretta on a journey stop-over here at The Paard Yard. One is going to Canada and the other is rodeo bound in the western part of the state later this weekend. I am very impressed with Loretta’s Louis Vuitton tail bag! I have never seen one! 🤣 We’re glad you had a rest and wish you much success and happiness!

Orlando and Ronan had a layover here during their move to Colorado. They had to get their land legs back after a long trailer ride while stocking up on some yummy vittles since they refused to eat in the trailer. Weather was beautiful 🌤️ and they were thrilled they were not eaten by mosquitos like back home. 🦟 Safe journey and thanks for choosing The Paard Yard!

Dancer Mae and Lola Beans were here for a vacation stay while their owner was sweet to go to California and donate her time and experience to the entrants and horses participating in The Tevis Cup! You rock, Rachel!! 💪💪
And, it’s always nice to see some favorite faces even if Lola didn’t want her picture taken! 🥰

Rodeo season! Hopefully our customer won big tonight at the Fair Rodeo! Her troop of horses rested up for their run for the last 3 days here enjoying the peace and quiet after their last showing. Hopefully this crew will be making another appearance at the Cascade Pro Rodeo in a few weeks! Best wishes on your Montana rodeo circuit and thanks for staying with us at The Paard Yard!

More Reno, NV champions staying overnight with us on their celebratory journey home! This winning crew had lots to be proud of, including potty training the new puppy, Gypsy! 🤣 Joleen, the palomino, won Reserve Champion in the Novice Reining Division. Jovi, the chestnut, won 6th in 3yr old futurity. Manny, the stud, didn’t feel like changing his leads during his classes, so even though he was a bit naughty and didn’t place, his beauty and kindness makes up for it! 🥰 We appreciate the trust you and your horses put in us to give you a safe and relaxing stay on your show schedule. Congrats and good luck at the next show!

Snoop Dog and 21 were here overnight on their return trip from Reno back to Calgary. We think they brought the hot desert temps with them since it was really hot in the upper 90s! ☀️We Montanans melt if temps get above 70! 😂 We appreciate you sharing your beautiful steeds with us! Thanks for staying at The Paard Yard!

Drum roll, please! We had visitors all the way from New Hampshire- our first from the state! This family is moving to Alaska and we know how huge Alaska is, so these horses, Alfred and Norman, will fit in perfectly in their new environment. These beauties win the award for being the tallest horses we have stabled (for reference, their owner is over 6’ tall). We also got to meet some of their cute dogs who were along for the travel adventures. Enjoy the journey north and much success at your new job! Thanks for staying at The Paard Yard!

Honey was back from Sheridan and the Cowgirl Cadillac Show. She didn’t meet her reserve, so thats good news for those of you looking for a beautiful, lovely mare, trained by a professional woman trainer! Check out Torakina Ranch and reach out to them if interested! I know my Millie was happy to have a friend visit and enjoy a slumber party! Thanks for visiting The Paard Yard and upgrading your Australian Flag to a red pin! Wahoo!

The name, Honey, really represents this beautiful horse and her personality. She stayed the night here on the way to Sheridan, WY where she will be for sale at the Cowgirl Cadillac event this weekend! Get your bids in on this sweetie! 😍 https://cowgirlcadillacs.com. We also had our first Australian visit us! Our map is becoming quite international!

I had to share this picture because I thought it was ridiculously cute. This is Joy (4-legged) and her human who came to The Paard Yard today to ride the trail and practice in the arena. The smile says it all. Horses are totally wonderful. 🥰
