Just letting everyone know-we have suspended accepting applications for ALL of our spay-neuter assistance programs, effective immediately.
To date, we have received ZERO financial support from either grantors (including the AZ Pet License Plate grant, funding from which which was awarded to only TWO Pinal County animal welfare organizations this cycle) OR from the public for the upcoming year.
We cannot continue to help the animals and residents of Pinal County without the money to do so.
We regret that it's come to this, having been providing free or extremely low cost spay-neuter on a year-round basis for well over a decade, to both owned animals and feral cats. We have altered literally THOUSANDS of animals that would not have been spayed or neutered without our help, and only wish we were able to continue to do so.
If the situation someonhow changes, that will be posted here.
