My heart is broken today 💔 I just received word that our Honor had cancer and had to be euthanized today. This boy was my world. I loved him beyond words and was so heartbroken to retire him. He was the biggest goofball I have ever met that gave the best snuggles. To Stephanie and her family I am so sorry for your loss and I know you loved our boy and took amazing care of him and can’t thank you enough. To thank you for loving our boy and caring for him even in his last moments. Sending my love to all of you. This is your reminder to love your pups a little tighter today and all the rest of days. Honor you will always be loved and cherished 🌈🐾

It has been a very rough week for Big House K9 as we have had several sudden unexpected losses. My best friend had to say goodbye to Moses her baby. Moses was Marley’s son. Moses was previously supposed to be a stud for our program but unfortunately swallowed underwear a few years ago which caused him to have emergency surgery, unfortunately the surgery left Moses on a liquid diet due to complications. We retired him from our program and he was living his very best life with my best friend and her family. Moses has been doing great until Saturday when he began having unexplained seizures that caused his family to make one of the toughest decisions a pet parent has to make. Unfortunately Moses passed and left a hole in many hearts. To thank you for such an amazing boy, to my best friend I love you and know your heart is shattered into a million pieces just like ours. Moses lived an AMAZING life and was very loved by everyone who came into contact with him. We will miss you buddy 💔🐾🌈

We exclusively use AKC Reunite microchips for all our puppies, and this situation does NOT affect them. You can rest easy knowing that there’s no need to re-register your dog.

Pupdate Storm- Willow & Zeke’s Marvel Litter

We’re thrilled to share that Storm is doing phenomenal! She has successfully passed her service dog training and has become Kim’s best sidekick. Storm attends our training sessions to keep her skills sharp, and Kim has generously volunteered to assist with our service training program.

Part of Molly’s Purpose is to give back and mentor other teams, and Kim & Storm are a shining example of that spirit in action. We couldn’t be prouder of this incredible duo and are truly grateful for Kim’s dedication and support. Keep up the amazing work, Storm and Kim! 🐾❤️

As you know, we have previously announced the closing of our breeding program at Big House K9. While this chapter has officially come to an end, we are excited to continue educating our community and offering lifetime support to ALL our Big House K9 families.

For responsible breeders looking for stud services, we are available to work with approved programs that have health-tested females.

Winnie got her first haircut and did great! All that grooming desensitization paid off! Winnie is our F1b Cavapoo from Tonks & Coopers Harry Potter Litter. Today, I’m feeling a mix of frustration and sadness as we witness Facebook taking drastic measures against healthy breeding practices. It’s disheartening to see them favoring backyard breeders and shelters while sidelining those of us committed to responsible breeding. 😢

The “adopt don’t shop” mentality, though well-intentioned, is inadvertently exacerbating the rescue crisis. Many people believe that by solely adopting, they’re making a positive impact, but the reality is more complex. Ethical breeders play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of the breed, ensuring that we’re not just addressing the symptoms of the problem, but the root causes as well.

There absolutely needs to be a middle ground where we can support responsible breeding while also providing help to rescues that have faced so many challenges. Every dog deserves a chance, whether through adoption or responsible breeding practices.

Hey, wonderful families! ❤️ We have two adorable pups looking for their forever homes, and they’re ready to steal your hearts! Meet **Mac**, our charming mini Goldendoodle with a sleek black wavy coat 🖤, and **Hufflepuff**, the sweetest Cavapoo with a stunning tri-color curly coat. 🖤🤍🤎

Mac is expected to mature around 20 lbs, while Hufflepuff will be a tiny bundle of joy at about 10 lbs. 🐶✨ These two are the last puppies we’ll have as we are no longer breeding, making this a truly special opportunity!
