Penny got into a PB&J with grape jelly, and her UrgentVet Care Team acted quickly to help protect her. 🐾

Did you know that some jellies and jams can contain xylitol, an ingredient that can be dangerous for dogs? Checking ingredient labels and keeping foods containing xylitol safely out of reach can help prevent an unexpected trip to the vet.

For Penny, the team induced vomiting, provided fluids, and gave her additional care to help keep her safe. 🩺

When your pet gets into something they shouldn’t, UrgentVet is here to provide urgent care and help give pet parents peace of mind. 💙

Their athletic abilities are impressive, but even expert jumpers can have the occasional misstep.🐾

What’s the most impressive place your cat has managed to jump to? 👀

If your cat suddenly seems reluctant to jump, is limping, or isn’t moving like their usual self, it may be worth a closer look. Changes in mobility can sometimes signal an injury or other health concern.

If your cat needs care for an unexpected injury or illness, UrgentVet is here to help with urgent care when you need it. 💙

Trash raids can lead to tummy trouble. When Ziggy wasn’t feeling well, UrgentVet used blood work and X-rays to check for swallowed foreign material. Thankfully, nothing was causing an obstruction. We provided fluids and medications to help ease his nausea and settle his stomach. 💙

Did you guess it? The answer is… Rhodesian Ridgeback! 🐾

Fun Fact: Their signature “ridge” is a strip of hair along their back that grows in the opposite direction from the rest of their coat! Pretty paw-some, right? 🐶

At UrgentVet, we love celebrating every pup’s unique traits — big, small, and everything in between. ❤️

Churro wasn’t feeling quite like himself, so he came to UrgentVet with some urinary symptoms. 🐾

Our team performed a urinalysis to help figure out what was going on, and thankfully, Churro did not have a UTI! He headed home with anti-inflammatory medication and a care plan to help him get back to feeling like himself. 💙

Because when your pet’s feeling off, you shouldn’t have to wait to get them feeling better.

Sometimes the best part of the day is seeing the world through their eyes. 🐾

For Team Member Marie, one of those moments was spending a little extra time with Clover. Taking a moment to slow down, connect, and build trust can make all the difference, especially when a vet visit feels unfamiliar.

At UrgentVet, we believe caring for pets is about more than treating an illness or injury. It’s about helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. ❤️

Mesmerizing eyes aren’t just cute—they’re incredible tools! 🐱

A cat’s eyes are specially designed to help them see in low light, judge distance, and track movement, making them skilled little hunters. Their unique vision is just one of the many things that makes cats so fascinating. ❤️

At UrgentVet, we love helping pet parents learn more about the pets they love and keeping their furry family members feeling their best.

Swipe to see Rio put his skills to the test. ➡️

During Rio's trip to UrgentVet, our team discovered that Rio has a special talent. And no, it’s not sitting pretty… it’s catching treats like a pro! 🍪

We’d say he’s got this trick in the bag, but he keeps eating the evidence. 👀

Not every outdoor adventure goes according to plan—just ask Maggie! 🐝

Maggie came to UrgentVet with facial swelling from a suspected insect sting, and our team was ready to help. Allergic reactions in pets can happen quickly and may cause swelling, redness, hives, and in some cases, difficulty breathing.

The good news? Maggie is feeling much better! Her swelling has gone down, and she's back to her happy, playful self—just the way we like to see our patients. 💙

When your pet's timing is a little... ruff, UrgentVet is here to help them get back to feeling their best.
