This is the moment we’ve been waiting for!

Meet Zachary, a proud Army veteran from NC. Back in August 2023, he traveled to the America’s VetDogs campus in Smithtown, NY, to meet Beckett. 🐕‍🦺🎖️

During Zachary’s ten-day stay on campus, he received individualized training alongside Beckett, building the skills and confidence needed to work together as a team. Zachary shared in that moment he knew Beckett would be his partner going forward; that he’d be “my guy” and the excitement that came with that is something he likely will never forget.

While on campus, Zachary was asked what he was most looking forward to when returning home:
Zachary replied, “he’s excited to introduce Beckett to the rest of the family- his wife and their two dogs. He’s excited to add him to the family and that Beckett will probably take his rightful place at the top.”

As Zachary and Beckett begin this next chapter together, we look forward to sharing an update about the incredible impact this partnership will have— not only on Zachary’s life, but also the lives of family, friends, and everyone around them ❤️
