Taking a young horse somewhere new for the first time can be an anxiety-producing experience—for both horse AND rider! New surroundings, new sights, new sounds, and a whole lot of “What was THAT?!” moments. 😅

But today was a huge success! Ana kept her nerves in check, stayed patient and confident, and gave her young horse the guidance he needed. Most importantly, they worked through the challenges together and finished with a positive experience for both horse and rider. #

These are the rides that build confidence, trust, and partnership. It may not always feel easy in the moment, but every successful outing is another step toward becoming a more confident team.

This little mare is available for an on farm lease in Carver, MA. She is 4 yrs old and has had about 30 rides on her. She picks things up pretty quickly and is easy to get along with but she is still green. She is only about 12 hands and needs a confident rider that will continue to help her grow. Are you looking to half lease a horse for September? If so, come see if Dunkin is the right fit for you. Dunkin is available for an on farm half lease for $275 a month. He is one of our WTC lesson horses for advanced beginners\intermediate riders. Dunkin prefers a quiet confident rider. He rides both English and Western and is a great all around horse. Lease includes the ability to ride 2 to 3 times a week with no additional fees. Message us if you would like to set up a time to meet Dunkin!

Hidden Acres in Carver, MA is excited to offer our **Saturdays in September Program!**

Our program is designed for kids who love horses—or are curious about learning more about them! It’s a wonderful opportunity to ride, learn, make friends, build confidence, and spend time in a welcoming barn environment.

🎨 Arts & crafts
🐴 Introduction to basic horse care

Hidden Acres in Carver is looking for someone to pick paddocks and feed in exchange for ride time. We are willing to train for the right person! We have several different horses available based on the riding level.

We are very proud of all of our horses and riders who represented us so well at the Valinor Horse Show tonight!
Every ride reflected the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that goes into preparing both horse and rider. From stepping into the ring with confidence to supporting one another throughout the evening, everyone gave it their best, and it showed.
Congratulations to all of our riders on their accomplishments, and a huge thank you to our families that help make nights like this possible. We couldn't be prouder of this team!!

This is this little mares 10th or so ride and she is doing awesome! We are very happy with how she is progressing and are looking forward to continuing her training!

Here are some good ways to help your horse stay cool in the heat wave we have coming. We have found most horses here like replenimash. So, that can be a great way to get extra water into them and keep them hydrated.

It’s going to be a heat wave over the next few days, please keep your horses cool and hydrated!
