I’ve been putting off posting this, probably for too long. To me, posting this - forces reality to set in.
In April we learned that Rory had come down with a lymphoma cancer that was caused by a reaction to pesticides used in our yard. We did all that we could to help him but in the end we had to allow Rory to permanently rest.
Our best guess is that he drank some that had oversprayed into the outside water bowl.
If you have one of his puppies (so far all that have been from Little Lion Puppies) you know how much I loved him. I’ve tried taking the last month to heal, and allow our family some time.
Today, we have also had to put our Labrador who has been a part of the family since 2014 down due to his age and arthritis. This has been no easier on us.

I pray that your little lion brings as much joy and happiness to each of you as our fur babies have to us. We will be introducing our new sire within the next few weeks, we are taking time to let him adjust to our home.
