We believe this a better way to care for homeless cats; allowing them to roam freely and be in charge of their daily lives rather than locking them in a cage. Catmandu exists for the welfare and benefit of kitties and animal lovers in our community.

Please help us find a home for Spunky. She is a sweet senior cat that does not do well with other animals. Consequently, we can't bring her to Catmandu where there are so many other cats. She is in a private home and needs to be rehomed directly to her new home.
Her current people write: We rescued a kitty whose owner passed away hoping she could adjust to our puppy and other kitty. She
has not adjusted in three months and we are worried about her well being.
Spunky is a very quiet and comforting kitty. She is a small, furry companion whose rhythmic purr brings
peace to anyone that is willing to provide a calm home without other pets. She is very gentle and capable of
providing affection and loyal companionship. She needs a companion that’s home more often like a retiree.
She is turning 14 next month.
We would be willing to place her with someone 55+ as a senior 2 senior foster. That allows us to provide additional support and veterinary assistance if needed.
Please help us find this sweet girl a loving home for her golden years. See less

Update on Zeus, adopted May 2026: He has already been on an RV trip and did super well. Not only did he do well in the car and trailer, he started leash training. Plus he and his feline sibling Socs race each other and play tag. They both like the outdoor catio in the evenings. Zeus' fur is growing out, and his family is excited to see what he will look like. Happy trails, Zeus!

Update on Thelma and Louise, adopted April 2026: Thelma is now Starlight Mauve and Louise is now Barbara Jean. Barb and Star are happily settled in and accepted by the household. Star has always been chatty, but Barb is starting to find her voice now too! Go girls!!!

Update on Miss Mabel, adopted February 2026: this little lady has several names given she is the family's second cat named Mabel: officially Mabel Two, she actually goes by Two-Two or Twoots Magoots! By any name tho, she is LOVED! She gets on well with her furry siblings and has brought out her feline sis Lexi's playful side. Her human sister is enamored of her, and as you see, there are tons of cuddles involved. It looks like Mabel hit the lottery... and so did her new family!

Update on Loki, adopted February 2026: Dad says he is sweet and calm, yet also playful and energetic. He is a bit shy with new people, but after a bit wants attention. His favorite thing is belly rubs! Mr. Loki is not one bit chaotic and saves all his craziness for his toys. Dad thinks he is perfect and is so thankful to have Loki in his life. Congrats, Loki!!!
