Must be very passionate about dogs, high energy, lots of integrity, hard working, very active and lots of patience. Job duties include actively playing, caring for and cleaning up after the dogs as well as cleaning up the shop at the end of the day. You will also be trained to assist grooming, which includes bathing and drying dogs. Come in & fill out an application!

A Pawsitive Image welcomes our newest groomer Dale!!!

I've been grooming since 2003 with PetSmart. I worked my way up to Academy Trainor teaching classes in Nevada and Colorado. I retired from PetSmart in 2011 and moved back west to be near family. I took the opportunity to attend grooming seminars at Groom Expo West in Pasadena to become a better groomer and handler. My training includes classes with Champion Pet Stylist Jodi Murphy for the Bichon Frise, layering techniques with Animal Planets Jonathan David, winner of Groomer Has It. I have also attended Corrective grooming, Asian Fusion & dye, and creative grooming competitions, and gentle handling. After grooming in the L.A., Encino/Calabasas area for high profile celebrity clients the last 10 years I decided to make the move to Carson City to raise my daughter in a this beautiful city.
