🐾🇺🇸 Summer recap: K9 Bo and the rest of our AK9I K9 teams worked HARD this summer! 🇺🇸🐾

From the gates at Water Country USA to stadiums, arenas, concert venues, and amusement parks around the country, our explosives detection dog teams spent the hottest months of the year helping keep guests safe so families could focus on making memories. ☀️💦

Every bag screened and every guest greeted is a reminder of why we do what we do. Big thanks to our partners at Water Country USA for trusting our teams, and to every handler and K9 who put in the work this season. 💪🐕

🐾🏥 Our future K9s made some new friends this week! 🏥🐾

We took a couple of our up-and-coming pups to Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital for some socialization training, and they were a HUGE hit with the hospital staff! ❤️ Plenty of belly rubs, head scratches, and smiles all around.

Socialization is one of the most important building blocks for a future working dog. New places, new people, new sounds, and busy environments help our pups grow into the calm, confident K9 partners they'll need to be on the job. 💪🐕

A big thank you to the amazing team at Bon Secours Mary Immaculate for welcoming us. You all work so hard caring for our community, and we're glad our pups could bring a little extra joy to your day! 🙌

From classroom to the field — and standing watch at Busch Gardens for Howl-O-Scream.

Sophie and her K9 partner just graduated from our course a few weeks ago and are now working across the country at music venues, stadiums, and most recently Busch Gardens. That’s what a new career as a K9 handler can look like: real work protecting venues, communities, and the people who visit them.

If you’ve been looking for a path that puts your drive to work with a dog at your side, this is it.

Unleash your purpose.
